We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school next Wednesday.

Here are some reminders to help things run smoothly -
🌟Doors open at 8.40am & close at 8.50am
🌟School finishes at 3.25pm
🌟Breakfast club opens at 7.30am
🌟Kids Club closes at 6pm
🌟Pupils should not wear jewellery to school, only stud earrings
🌟 Black school shoes must be worn ( full uniform list on website)
🌟Please ensure all clothing is named.

Our St Andrew’s Got Talent finalists performed in front of the whole school and they were all amazing 🌟👏🏻
Voting will now take place and the winners will be announced at the end of tonight’s performance.

This week Calderdale schools came to a football tournament at St Andrew’s.
Teams from Cliffe Hill, Longroyde, Withinfields and St Joseph’s attended.
All pupils had a great time and played well.
After a tense final between St Joseph’s & St Andrew’s, the winners were decided on penalties
St Joseph’s were the winners.

Thankyou to Mrs Taylor and Luke of Education Through Sport for organising and to everyone involved in making it a fun day of competitive sport.

This week we hosted a schools netball tournament, attended by Longroyde, St Joseph’s, Salterhebble, Woodhouse & St Andrew’s.
All teams showed great sportsmanship and had a lovely afternoon playing in the sun.
St Andrew’s made it to the final and came second overall.
Winners were St Joseph’s.

Thanks to Mrs Taylor for organising and everyone who attended and supported.

Just a reminder -
Red Nose Day is on Friday 20th March.
We will be supporting this cause by inviting children to wear non uniform and something red (where possible).
In return, we will be hosting a bun sale to raise money for Comic Relief.
If your child would like a bun during the school day, please send 50p to school with them.

We would be extremely grateful for donations of buns from Year 5 & 6.
If you are able to donate buns, please send these in with your child on Friday 20th March.
Please can we remind all parents and carers that all donations of buns must not contain any nuts in them.
