✨ Supporting Routines at Home ✨

We spotted these fantastic Kids’ Routine Bingo boards in The Works for just £1! 🥰

They are a lovely, simple way to help children understand and follow their morning and evening routines through an interactive visual timetable. 🌞🌙

Routines are so important for young children as they help them to know what is happening next, what is expected of them and what comes after each activity. Having a predictable routine can help children feel more secure, independent and confident, while also making those busy morning and bedtime moments a little easier for everyone! 💛

The visual pictures make it particularly useful for younger children and those who may find verbal instructions difficult to follow. Children can work through each step before sliding across the little door, giving them a sense of achievement as they complete their routine. ⭐

For just £1 from The Works, these are a fantastic little resource to support independence and positive routines at home! 🏡💕

🌞🌑 Learning About the Solar Eclipse! 🌑🌞

The children in the Investigator room enjoyed learning all about the amazing solar eclipse! We talked about what happens when the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun and how this can create a spectacular eclipse. 🌎☀️🌙

The children then got creative and made their very own eclipse artwork! Using chalks and their fingers, they carefully smudged the colours around a moon stencil to recreate the beautiful effect of a solar eclipse. 🎨✨

🌿☀️ Our first Forest School session of the Summer Holiday Club has been a huge success! ☀️🌿

What an incredible day we've had, full of imagination, teamwork and adventure! 💚

The children amazed us with their creativity as they designed and built their own mini golf courses using materials they had foraged and discovered around the woods.

They also worked together to build fantastic dens from logs, created paper aeroplanes and had so much fun launching them from the trees to see whose would fly the furthest! ✈️🌳

Forest School is such a special place where children of all ages can explore, create, problem-solve and simply enjoy being outdoors. It's wonderful to see even our older children feeling free to play, laugh and let their imaginations run wild.

We can't wait to see what adventures the rest of the summer has in store! 🌿🍃💚

🌍🚀 Exploring Our Solar System in Explorers! 🚀🌙

Our little Explorers have been reaching for the stars as we've been learning all about the planets and celebrating the anniversary of the historic Moon landings. ✨

The babies have loved sharing the stories "8 Little Planets" and "That's Not My Rocket", using their fine motor skills to carefully turn the pages while exploring the bright colours, textures and exciting space-themed pictures.

It has been wonderful to hear their growing vocabulary as they pointed to different parts of the books and proudly repeated the words such as "Sat" (Saturn), "sun", "fffff" (Earth), "moooo" (Moon), "book" and "rock" (rocket). 🚀🌞🌍🌙

Through stories, conversations and sensory exploration, our youngest learners have been developing their communication and language skills, fine motor control and curiosity about the amazing world and universe around them. ✨

🌿🌳 Our Preschool Forest School Adventures 🌳🌿

What an incredible two Forest School sessions we've had with our preschool children today and last week! We are so proud of every single one of them. 💚

The children have been absolutely amazing, embracing every new experience with confidence, curiosity and enthusiasm. Forest School is such a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, develop independence, meet new friends and staff, and explore a completely different environment while learning through nature.

There were so many exciting adventures throughout the day! The children loved flying along the zip line, swinging through the trees, going on Gruffalo adventures, creating beautiful mark making using brambles, and pressing flowers.

After all that exploring, everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner of sausages and their packed lunch before gathering around the fire to finish the session with one of our favourite Forest School treats... s'mores! The children toasted marshmallows over the fire and sandwiched them between two biscuits, the perfect end to a fantastic day in the woods. 🔥🍪

Thank you to all of our wonderful children for making these sessions so special. Watching their confidence, resilience and love for the outdoors grow is truly something magical. We can't wait for our next group of children to start their Forest School adventure! 🌿❤️

✨🎓 Nursery Graduation 2026 🎓✨

What an incredible two evenings celebrating our wonderful 25 preschool children as they graduated from I Learn Education. 💚

It never fails to amaze us how quickly the time passes. It feels like only yesterday they were taking their very first steps through our doors, and now they're ready for their next big adventure at school. Watching each and every one of them grow in confidence, independence and personality has been such a privilege.

The evenings were filled with smiles, laughter, proud moments and, of course, a few tears. We couldn't be prouder of how amazing all of the children were, they truly shone and made us all incredibly proud.

A huge thank you to all of our families for joining us to celebrate your child's special evening. We hope you enjoyed every moment and created memories that you'll treasure forever.

To all of our graduates, we wish you the very best as you begin your exciting journey to big school. Remember, you'll always be a part of the I Learn family, and we can't wait to hear about all the wonderful things you achieve. 🌟❤️

💚 Farewell & Good Luck, Sue! 💚

Today we say a very special farewell to our amazing practitioner Sue as she begins her well-deserved retirement after just over 15 wonderful years with ILearn Education.

Sue will be hugely missed by all of her ILearn family, as well as the many children and families she has supported and cared for over the years. It has truly been a pleasure to have her as part of our team.

She has brought so much to ILearn, not only her knowledge, experience, and dedication, but also her wonderful spirit and sense of humour.
Sue was always keeping the ladies on their toes, pulling little tricks and making us all giggle, never quite knowing what her next antic would be! Her laughter and personality have been a big part of our nursery, and it certainly won’t be the same without her.

Thank you, Sue, for everything you have done for ILearn Education over the past 15 years. We wish you a long, happy, and relaxing retirement filled with lots of fun, laughter, and time doing all the things you love.

Please join us in wishing Sue all the very best for this exciting new chapter! 💐✨
