Even though I am not running Awaken-Ed sessions at the moment due to personal circumstances, I need to share this post from The Healing Horse Sanctuary.

An absolutely beautiful charity which are 100% self-funded and volunteer reliant. They are struggling with funds at the moment, so please, please do take a look at their page and website donate whatever you can, organise a visit with them or a fundraiser, anything at all to help them out. They need £2500 every month just to get by. I'm setting up a monthly payment to them.

Any and all help will be much, much appreciated by Susie, her horses and ponies and all of the volunteers. Thank you for reading 💖🙏🐴

RESCHEDULED NOVEMBER AND JANUARY SESSIONS HAVE ALL BEEN CANCELLED AND FULLY REFUNDED

For at least January, February and March, I am choosing not to run any Awaken-Ed sessions. This is a decision I have been mulling over for several weeks, and with a rise in venue costs/certain materials, work commitments and lack of time in general, this is what I have chosen for at least the next few months. After Easter, I will see how things are then with whether I continue them or not.

PLEASE PASS ON THIS MESSAGE TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS BOOKED ONTO THE NOVEMBER OR JANUARY SESSIONS. ALL REFUNDS COULD TAKE UP TO 10 WORKING DAYS TO APPEAR IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS.

Thank you all who have booked onto the last sell-out 9 months of Awaken-Ed sessions; the kids and me have met some incredible home-edding families! They have been so much fun!

Thank you all for a great turnout today: a beautiful, crisp winter's day, albeit very cold. Quite a quick finish, with everyone packed up for 3 as it was rather nippy, and the littles were all fed up after an hour or so. Suffice to say, both of mine are now napping!

Still, some great clay creations - tea light holders, plates, animals, bowls, a hanging art piece. All left over resources were donated to Ekho Collective Earth Kind Holistic Offerings for any workshops they might be able to use them in 💓

AND, a happy 11th birthday to K! Thank you for bringing everyone cakes 🤗🤩 I hope you have enjoy the rest of your day! 💖🐴🐎

JANUARY SESSIONS OPEN FOR BOOKING

The 3rd and 17th are rescheduled dates from November, and for families originally booked on. The 10th and 24th are open for booking now (website link in comments). The First Aid session rescheduled from November will be in March as it was the first date we both had free, so this will still be on for the families booked onto this originally.

Tuesday 3rd January - Rescheduled session from November - Boats STEM and Craft Activities - for families originally booked on.

Tuesday 10th January - Raised salt painting and freestyle crafts for all ages

Tuesday 17th January - Rescheduled session from November - Creating nature looms at Hawbush Gardens - for families originally booked on.

Tuesday 24th January - Canals and River Trust session 1:30-2:30pm (split into 2 times just so numbers are more manageable) - Bug hotels and seed bombs. This session COULD be outdoors, weather dependent, so please dress accordingly if this is the case. If not, it will be indoors at our usual venue. Please check the FB page/Telegram channel the week before the session for an update.

A lovely, chilled session with lots of amazing tie dying (pillow cases, T-shirts, baby gros, a Tote bag, apron, socks, a beach towel), along with painting trees and baubles and freestyle crafting 🥰🤗

TOMORROW'S TIE DYING SESSION

We will be going ahead with this one tomorrow after three long weeks of rescheduling because of illness - yay!

Please bring along any items you want to tie dye - you can bring more than one item if you want as I have a lot left over from the last session a few months ago. 🤩

I will also have festive decorations for the younger and older ones to decorate with acrylic paint for your trees, or just as crafty projects if your families do not celebrate this time of year!

There will also be big flipchart paper for any artistic outlets, and the usual squash, biscuits (vegan friendly included) and games/toys.

See you all at 1:30pm! Me and the kids have missed seeing you all 🤗💓

TOMORROW'S FIRST AID SESSION - TO BE RESCHEDULED

I am ever so sorry to have to reschedule the third session in a row this month 😭 Esther's daughter is ill (sounds like what my family and me have had), and I've put my back out from coughing, so we will hopefully redo this in February sometime.

I'll message everyone booked on.

I want this month to be over now, I've had enough of it!

TOMORROW'S SESSION RESCHEDULED - APOLOGIES

I am very sorry to have to reschedule tomorrow to Tuesday 3rd January 2023. My children are still ill, and now my husband and I are too.

UPDATE: TOMORROW'S SESSION AT HAWBUSH GARDENS RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY 1:30-3:30PM

I did not realise the weather is looking so bad tomorrow. A few people have messaged, and my son is not well due to teething, so I have arranged it with Ekho Collective Earth Kind Holistic Offerings to reschedule this to Tuesday 17th January 2023.

Of course, anyone booked on for tomorrow will be still be booked for the rescheduled date. So, there will be no session tomorrow and we will resume next week with our boats STEM session.

I apologise if this has caused any inconvenience.
