The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), in partnership with the Met Office, has issued an Amber Heat-Health Alert for the West Midlands.
This means high temperatures are likely to have a significant impact on our Holiday Camp provision.
The alert is active from today until Friday 14 August at 9pm.

What does this mean for our Camps?
We are keeping a close eye on weather and Heat-Health Alert updates and reviewing our plans to make sure children and families stay safe in the heat.
Activities will still run unless we contact you with an update.
We are adjusting our Camps to support safety and wellbeing, for example:
🟠 Moving activities indoors during the hottest points of the day
🟠 Reducing physical activity
🟠 Changing outdoor plans to shaded or cooler spaces
🟠 Ensuring children stay hydrated throughout the day.

What can you do?
To help keep children safe and comfortable at Camp during the heat alert, please:
🟠 Let the Coordinator know if your child is sensitive to heat or has any health conditions that could be affected
🟠 Send your child with a refillable water bottle so they can stay hydrated throughout the session
🟠 Apply sun cream before the session and send extra if your child may need it topped up
🟠 Send your child with a sun hat

🎪 Week 3 is almost here... and it's packed with even more Summer fun! ☀️

⚽ 7 exciting multi-sports activities every day, including dodgeball, football, ultimate frisbee, tennis, badminton and cricket!

🎨 Get creative with How to Draw Ziggy the Sloth, Surfboard Bookmarks and Tulip Origami.

🤹 Don't miss our Circus Theme Day on Wednesday 5th August, packed with themed games and activities, learning circus skills, arts & crafts and much more!

💦 And, of course, we'll finish the week with our favourite Summer Splash Friday Afternoon!

🎉 What an amazing Week 2 at RB Holiday Camps!

From action-packed multi-sports including basketball, archery, football, bench ball and athletics, to getting creative with sunflower crafts, piñata surprise drawings and rock 'n' roll key rings, there was something for everyone! 🌻⚽🎨

Our Rock 'n' Roll Theme Day was a huge hit, and we rounded off another fantastic week with an epic Summer Splash Friday! 💦🤩

A huge thank you to all of the amazing children for bringing so much energy, laughter and fun each day. 🧡

Now... bring on Week 3! We can't wait for another week of unforgettable adventures! 🙌

🎉 WOW… what an incredible first week of Summer Camps!

We've had an action-packed week filled with multi-sports including fencing, archery, tri-golf, football and dodgeball, got creative with under the sea crafts, handprint frogs and craft cameras, enjoyed an amazing Carnival Theme Day, and finished the week with an unforgettable Summer Splash Friday! 💦🎨⚽

A huge thank you to all of the amazing children for bringing so much energy, laughter and smiles each day. 😀☀️

Now... bring on Week 2! We can't wait to do it all again! 🙌

💦 What a SPLASH-tastic way to end our first week of Summer Camps! ☀️🎉

There were smiles everywhere this afternoon as the children enjoyed an action-packed Summer Splash session! 🌊💧 From epic water fights to non-stop laughter, it was the perfect way to cool down and celebrate an amazing first week of camp.

Seeing so many happy faces making memories, building friendships and having so much fun is exactly what Summer is all about! 🧡☀️

We're already counting down to next week... and the fun is only just getting started! 🤩
