We are delighted to have received an Outstanding Ofsted outcome from our inspection last week. We are all thrilled and cannot wait to share the report publicly in the next week or so when it is published on the Ofsted website.

We had our Food Hygiene Inspection this morning. We are pleased to say we have retained our 5 star rating . The inspector was very complimentary about our standards .

Feedback from Brush Bus Team & BBC TV Crew: 6.3.25
"Thank you for allowing the TV crew to come and film today. It has gone really well the Nursery and Staff Team are lovely"
They also commented on Kim's singing skills.
They wanted to capture how the Brush Bus scheme is working within a Nursery that is actively following the program rather than a member of the government. They also said "The children have been amazing , their comments and behaviour were fantastic" .

Story telling session in Nursery Rhymes
Carol commented that the children behaved well and joined in , she said you can tell they are used to story sessions. She commented that the children had great ideas and questions and she said the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

BBC Breakfast came to Nursery today along with representatives from "The Brush Bus" . The session went really well today , the children really engaged and the film crew were so impressed with them and how they did the session. The children were filmed brushing their teeth and also playing in the main room and then the children also got asked a few questions about tooth brushing.
It should be on BBC Breakfast between 6.15-9am on Friday morning.
Thank you to the parents of the children taking part as well as the staff and parents who were happy to be interviewed.

If your nursery is charging you extra fees please make sure they are doing this legally.
At Nursery Rhymes we do not charge for any extras except if your child stays for tea. We then charge the minimum to cover food and staff costs to prepare and serve the meals.

The Gruffalo

This morning the children in the BE room had a lovely interactive story telling session with Puppet Plays & Story Days. The children joined in with the story and actions. We had some lovely feedback from Carol about how well behaved the children where throughout and she was impressed with the children’s questions and ideas 😊
