Unfortunately, the incorrect colour of polo shirts was initially advertised on the Steady Schoolwear website. We have raised this with the company and this has been changed. We will be continuing with white polo shirts.

It's beginning to look a lot like... an end of term beach day 🏖

Lots of classes had a lot of fun at the beach today- Year 1, 2 and 4 headed back for lunch whilst Year 6 enjoyed their lunch with the seagulls 🐠

A LOT of ice-cream was consumed 🍦

Year 3 and Year 5 had a wonderful field day today. Year 5 children planned and delivered a number of fun activities for both classes to take part in. We took lots of water and sun cream breaks, as well as having an ice pop stop in the shade this afternoon. A lovely day for everyone!

A reminder for our Year 6 children who are attending transition days at Bridlington School tomorrow and Friday. Please see the key information below.

Children should go straight to their secondary school and do not need to come to us either day.

We can't wait to hear how they all get on when they are back with us on Monday 😁

❗Transition Day Information

We are excited to be meeting all of our new Year 7 students tomorrow!

Below is a re-cap of the key information for parent/carer use.

⭐ Students should arrive between 08.10 and 08.25am at the middle gate (opposite the fire station, on Bessingby Road)

⭐Thursday 2nd July, students should wear their current school PE kit.

⭐Friday 3rd July, students should wear their current school uniform.

⭐School will end at 2.35pm and students will exit via the middle gate.

⭐Students not receiving free school meals, should bring either a packed lunch or cash to enable them to buy some food. (As we are normally a cashless school, smaller change would be appreciated.)

This morning, Year 5 welcomed Sarah from the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service for an informative and engaging fire safety session.
The children learned about the important role of firefighters, how to stay safe around fire, how to prevent fires, the dangers of arson, and what to do in an emergency. They discussed the vital message of, "Get out, Stay out, Call 999," and gained valuable knowledge to help keep themselves and their families safe.
The children were fantastic ambassadors for our school, asking thoughtful questions and showing great enthusiasm.
A huge thank you to Sarah and the fire service for taking the time to share these important messages.🚒👏
