Celebrating 5 amazing years of Rebecca’s Childminding!
I’m so proud to be marking the 5-year anniversary of opening my doors. Over this time, I’ve had the privilege of supporting and caring for nearly 40 wonderful children, each one bringing their own unique personality, joy, and memories.
It’s amazing to look back and see just how much the setting has grown and changed over the years. Every improvement and little detail has been shaped by the children and families who have been part of the journey.
Thank you to all the families who have trusted me to be part of their children’s lives—it truly means the world. Here’s to many more years of learning, laughter, and growing together 💛

🍁We had a lovely autumn walk.
🍁We found snails and counted them.
🍁We walked round a curvy woodland track, and used new words like ‘bend, corner, turn’.
🍁We measured sticks and found the ‘longest, biggest, widest’.
🍁We worked on getting to know our colours.
🍁We looked for falling leaves and talked about autumn.
🍁And lots of muddy puddle jumping.

We have been watching over the past few weeks our tiny little caterpillars turn into butterflies, today we have just let them go 🦋We have loved learning all about the process.

The children have said we need to keep our eyes open to spot them flying back to visit us.

From September 2024, 15 hours childcare support will be extended to eligible working parents with a child from 9-months-old. Applications will open on May 12. It’s important to remember that codes need to be renewed every three months.
