We ended the term in true Haygrove-style with another hugely successful Glastongrove! Our students and staff had a fantastic afternoon on the school field, full of celebration and community spirit.

Well done to all of the musicians who bravely took to the stage and all of the performances were absolutely fantastic. The creativity, effort and enthusiasm that went into the tutor stalls was incredible and helped us raise an incredible £2,231.60, which will be reinvested into the school environment for the benefit of our students.

Thank you once again to everyone involved for making Glastongrove such a memorable success. Now, let's Cha Cha Slide into the summer holidays!

Our Year 7 students had a fantastic time on their Year 7 Camp, taking part in a wide range of exciting activities, camping under the stars and even cooking their own dinners. They were a brilliant group of young people who embraced every opportunity, represented the school superbly and, most importantly, had a great time making memories together.

A huge thank you to Mr Owen, Mr Dennison and all of the staff who generously gave their time to support the trip and make it such a success.

Honours Evening was a wonderful celebration of student achievement and the many successes of our young people over the past year. It was a pleasure to see so many students proudly receiving certificates and awards in recognition of their hard work, commitment and personal accomplishments. We are incredibly proud of all the students who were honoured on the night.

A special thank you to our newly appointed Head Boy and Head Girl for delivering their first closing remarks at the event. They did a brilliant job, speaking with confidence! We look forward to seeing them flourish in their leadership roles over the coming year.

Students, families and staff recently came together to celebrate another fantastic year of debating at Haygrove School.

The evening featured a special visit from Ashley Fox MP for Bridgwater, who spoke to students about the importance of respectful debate, civic engagement and having the confidence to use their voices. Our students really impressed with their thoughtful questions and willingness to engage in informed discussion.

We were also delighted to recognise the commitment, progress and achievements of our student debaters throughout the year, culminating in the presentation of our annual awards.

A huge thank you to Mr Williams for organising the evening, Ashley Fox MP for his support and encouragement, Mrs Woollcott for creating the fantastic trophies, and to all our staff, students and families for helping make the event such a success.

Our annual Sports Day was a fantastic celebration of participation, teamwork and school spirit, with more than 550 students taking part in track events throughout the afternoon.

The day began with a range of exciting inter-house competitions, including hockey, pickleball, netball and rounders, before students took to the track to compete in a variety of races. It was wonderful to see so many students involved, encouraging one another and demonstrating determination, resilience and sportsmanship.

A huge thank you goes to the PE Department for organising such a successful event and to all staff who supported throughout the day. Sports Day showcased the strong sense of community at Haygrove. Seeing hundreds of students taking part, challenging themselves and celebrating each other's successes was a wonderful way to end the week.

Congratulations to all competitors and the winning house teams across the inter-house events.
