🎸 iRock Assembly! 🎸

Today the children enjoyed an exciting iRock assembly at school! 🤘🎶

They found out all about iRock and how they can learn to play in a band, develop their musical skills and most importantly, have lots of fun making music together! 🥁🎤🎸

The children have come home with a leaflet with more information about iRock so please have a look through it with them if they’re interested in finding out more.

If your child would like to get involved, you can find out more and sign up here: https://www.irockschool.com/enrol

Who knows… we may have some future rock stars in the making! ⭐🎶

Enrol today! Our in-school rock and pop band lessons provide an amazing confidence boosting experience for children. Check availability using our online tool.

📚 Phonics Parent Workshops📚

Thank you to the parents/carers who joined us for our phonics workshops today. We hope you found the sessions useful and have a better understanding of how you can support your child with their reading at home.

All Nursery and school children have been given a phonics pack to support learning at home. If you have any questions or would like further support, please come and speak to us - we are always happy to help. ❤️

If you were unable to attend but would like some support or information, please get in touch.

We will also be holding further parent workshops focusing on RSHE and Online Safety. More details will follow soon 😊.

👋 Welcome back! 💙

We’ve had a busy first week back so far, and it’s been lovely to welcome everyone back to school! 🏫✨

We’re really happy to be able to open our lovely Sharing Sheds again this year, following their amazing success in supporting families and our wider community last academic year. 🥰

🥫 Food Shed
We currently have quite a lot of perishable food available in our food shed, so please do pop along and help yourself to anything you can make use of. There’s no need to ask – that’s exactly what it’s there for! ❤️

♻️ Had a back-to-school clear out?
If you have any items you’re able to donate to our sharing sheds, we’d be incredibly grateful. Your donations really do help us to support one another and our local community. 🤝

📚 Our Book Shed needs you!
Our book shed is looking a little sparse at the moment, so we’d especially love donations of books. We’re very happy to accept both children’s and adults’ books – a perfect opportunity to give those finished-with books a new home! 📖✨

Thank you, as always, for helping us make our Sharing Sheds such a wonderful community resource. 💕

🪵 A massive thank you to Brookridge Timber for their very kind donation of wood for our EYFS outdoor areas.

👏 We would also like to give a special thank you to Mr Weatherburn and our amazing volunteers, who have worked so hard to create a fantastic 🥣 mud kitchen, 🏗️ construction area and 🪑 benches for our children to enjoy.

Their dedication, creativity and hard work have helped transform our outdoor space into an exciting place for learning and play.

😊 The children have been so excited by the new project and have already been representing their knowledge, skills and creativity in lots of fun and engaging ways. 🌱🎨🔨

💚 It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and imagination flourish in these new areas. We look forward to planning and developing even more exciting projects in the future!

🙏 Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. Together, we are creating amazing opportunities for our children to learn, explore and grow. ✨
