It was great to welcome back our GCSE students to receive their results this morning. Congratulations to those who had worked so hard and achieved some really great results. There were a number of excellent individual results and special mention must go to both Ollie Ws, Ethan W and Daniel B who all achieved really strong grades across all subjects.

Whether or not our students did or did not get the results they were hoping for or expecting, all can reflect on how much they have achieved at Brymore, in terms of experiences, friendships and contributions made to the school.

The 178th Dunster Show, Somerset - Friday 21st August 2025 Dunster Show is the premier Agricultural Show in West Somerset. Taking place below Dunster Castle it's a perfect setting for a magical family day out.

We are delighted that the school is now part of the Bristol Bears School Connexion Programme. As such, two of our members of staff recently attended a Teacher CPD session at Britol Bears High Performance Centre.
This is a great development for our rugby performance and we look forward to a fruitful relationship.

The term may be over buy there's still time to showcase some of the fantastic work that our students have produced in the workshops.
Our Year 10s produced some fabulous small, side tables which was part of an opportunity to learn about a range of wood joints, using reclaimed materials and sourcing their own materials.

A great way to round off a busy term! Last weekend's swimming gala was a nail-biting and joyous affair with some really exciting and closely fought races as well as a number of tumbling school records. The day concluded with prize giving and we were very grateful to have our Chair of Governors, Jason Kilduff, giving out the prizes.
Well done to everyone who took part and, especially, to all the prize winners.
