Mama Bear's Day Nursery Express Park, Bridgwater

At our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater the Preschool children have enjoyed making fairy cakes to take home.
The children were 'confident communicators' asking questions about the ingredients we were using. They showed they were 'masters of maths' as we had to weigh out our ingredients and 'talented tool users' when we were mixing and scooping the cake mixture into the cake cases. 🍰

At our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater the Preschool children went on a little walk along the river bank, being independent individuals.
We were all exceptional explorers by talking about what we can see. On our walk we saw some very tall cranes, birds, the very long river and lots of cyclists. We stopped for a short drink break where we saw the seagulls diving into the water. On our way back we saw some blackberry bushes and some walkers. The children were fantastic and can't wait to go again.

In the Baby Room at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater we have continued to enjoy our I wonder them of 'vehicles'.
The children have had plenty of messy play opportunities recently to create their own vehicles! To begin with the children were able to choose a vehicle they would like to paint. They could choose from vehicles such as a hot air balloon, train, van, aeroplane and rocket!
Later on in the week, we enjoyed large scale mark making but this time with coloured pencils. When working as a team to create our masterpiece, we spoke about the different noises vehicles make as well as what colours we are using.

The Baby Room at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater have enjoyed exploring our 'I wonder' of Summer throughout the month of July!
The babies have loved becoming 'exceptional explorers' both indoors and outdoors when interacting with new friends and a variety of different resources. We made lovely keep sakes to take home, these were our very own flip flops!
As well as this, we celebrated National Tiger day. We had the opportunity to explore and talk about different habitats whilst out in the garden!

The Baby Room at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater have enjoyed doing some baking and cooking!
We have made some yummy cookies and pizza wraps which meant that we had to use different muscles to mix, scoop, pour and sprinkle a variety of ingredients!
We took these home to enjoy with our families. 🍪

The local Fire Brigade came to visit the Preschool children at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater.
Their visit was part of our theme of ‘I wonder’ was around transport. The children had a wonderful time learning about the tools on the engine, how they worked and asked the fire officers lots of questions.
One of the Nursery practitioners Sam, dressed up as a Fireman....The children called him "Fireman Sam."

A huge congratulations to Skye at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater whose hard work has paid off and she has now received her Childcare L3 qualification.
Skye was presented with a £25 gift voucher and a card from the team.
Well done once again Skye for all your hard work in completing your qualification!!

The Babies at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater have enjoyed playing and exploring with a range of activities based on their June theme of 'I wonder about colours'.
We have loved looking at the prime colours; red, blue and yellow and learning new vocabulary each week as well as using our body to make marks and explore!

On Saturday we enjoyed our Open Day at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater!
Throughout the day we had lots of learning opportunities within the rooms and in the gardens. We were lucky enough to have a face painter join us for the day as well as a petting zoo! We had a such a lovely day with all of the families and we hope you enjoyed spending the day with us too!

Throughout April and May, we have had a very busy time in the Baby Room at our Exchange Nursery in Bridgwater.
We celebrated Easter and National Earth Day.
We have become 'exceptional explorers' in the garden and now that the sun is starting to come out, the babies are enjoying their play so much more outdoors!

We interacted with a variety of Easter activities where we went on an egg hunt, created our own Easter eggs and explored the carrot tray.
Using different coloured paints and our hands we created globes.
