With just under a weeks to go, we are counting down the days until Bridgwater living history day. (22nd Aug at Blake Gardens Bridgwater) This is the 2nd year Somerset Barons and the wider group of Isca - Armoured Fight Club have been asked back to exhibition the sport of Buhurt, full contact fighting in full medieval armour, if you like unconventional sports, or have a passion for history come along and see.

On Sat 22nd of August, returning for a second year Bridgwater living history day will include the Somerset Barons, ( as well as other chapters of Isca - Armoured Fight Club ) exhibitioning full contact medieval combat with other local clubs, such as Draig ( Team Wales ), and ACG (Armoured Combat Gloucester), a full day of high octane combat in full medieval armour.
Open to the public from 10am to 4pm you will be able to come and see what the sport of buhurt is all about, chat to the fighters and cheer them on.

Just a reminder we are away at an event tomorrow, so NO TRAINING in the evening. But this is open to the public and if you wish you can come see, enjoy and have fun.

This weekend we have fighters from ISCA traveling to Belgium to fight. Wish them luck and follow their progress where you can.

Has it nearly been a week already, last Saturday saw the Barons as well as other chapter of Isca - Armoured Fight Club fight at the tournament of deeds, which is one of our favourite
events.

We want to say a massive thank you to the marshals and secretaries who make events possible, Martin Buhurt UK for all the work he does filming and editing tournaments, the support who come along and everyone else who makes this community something really special to be part of!

Tomorrow we will be fighing at the tournament of Deeds, ( so training is cancelled ) this is one of our more local events being hosted in Herefordshire and more anticipated ones.
The Barons will be sending 5 fighters to this event all have trained hard and looking to test their metal.
Once again no training tomorrow, we will be back to full swing next week.
