Cannington Equestrian Centre Open to the public all year round. Cannington Equestrian Centre is proudly part of University Colleges Somerset.

CEC is a BHS approved Training and Exam Centre based in Somerset. Sharing the excellent facilites and horses with the public. Bridgwater College's Equestrian Centre is an approved British Horse Society (BHS) riding school based in Somerset. Our facilities include an indoor and outdoor arena, a range of show jumps, fillers, portable cross country fences, two large stable blocks and a variety of well-schooled horses. All of our instructors are BHS qualified and we offer quality instruction in dressage and show jumping either on our horses or on your own horse. Private and group lessons are available for riders of all abilities (aged 10 years +).

What a fantastic day! The weather was on our side and all the horses really showed their stuff, hoping to be selected for the upcoming jumping & dressage competitions! 🏆

I hear Club 14–17 even ventured outside for a little practice… cheeky! 😏 Don’t worry, Club Luigi will be practising in two weeks, so get ready! 💪🐎

Not many are booked in for this Wednesday, so please double-check your emails — they’ve been a bit funny lately. Message the phone if you’re unsure!

And don’t forget to put Luigi as at least your 2nd choice… unlike the staff, who competed at the weekend and completely forgot me! 😤😂

🐴💚 LUIGI IS SO PROUD! 💚🐴

Oh my goodness, what a lovely evening! 🎄✨

I made sure I stayed right at the back of the musical ride last night so I could see every single one of you — and I have to say, I was VERY proud! 🥰

Just look at how far you have all come. Watching you ride, learn, grow in confidence and work together makes my little pony heart very happy. 💚

I cannot wait to see each and every one of you enter the October Show and strut your stuff! 🏆✨ I’ll be watching… so make sure you show me what you can do!

And one important Luigi reminder… 🥶🐴
DON’T FORGET AN OVERCOAT NEXT WEEK! We have some you can borrow if not. We’ll be looking at different types of clips and clipping, so there will be plenty to learn — and hopefully nobody gets too hairy. 😂
