Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were sadly busy over the weekend, dealing with fires in the open in multiple areas across both Devon and Somerset 😔

During this extremely dry weather, please help them and us to prevent wildfires by not using disposable BBQs or having open fires anywhere on the Quantock Hills, and remember the following:

✅ Bring a picnic – NO BBQ's
🚫 No open fires at any time
🗑️ Take all litter home
🚬 Dispose of ci******es and vapes safely
🍾 Keep glass out of direct sunlight
☀️ Follow guidance for staying safe in extreme heat
