Any other parents have pockets full of conkers at the moment?

A little learning can happen anywhere… even with a handful of conkers and a stick. 🍂😂

At Conexus Tuition, we like to make learning feel relaxed, practical and a bit more fun.

Whether it’s building confidence in Maths, developing English skills or simply helping a child believe, “I’ve got this” — that’s what we’re here for. 💜

🍂 AUTUMN EQUINOX 🍂

Today we apparently get equal amounts of daylight and darkness.

Which feels wonderfully balanced.

Unlike:
📚 homework
☕ caffeine
🧦 the number of school socks that mysteriously disappear
and
😵‍💫 the amount of patience left by 7pm.

But there is something lovely about this time of year: a fresh season, a new term properly underway and another chance to make progress without needing everything to be perfect.

Learning is all about balance too:
a bit of challenge,
a bit of encouragement,
a few mistakes,
and hopefully at least one moment of “Ohhh… I get it now!” 💡

Happy Autumn Equinox from Conexus Tuition Minehead & Taunton 🍁

What do you think of this? 😍

ICYMI: A man has passed his GCSE in mathematics 70 years after first failing it in school.

Brian Jones, 86, said he wanted to keep his "mind active" after deciding he had no intention of slowing down once he turned 80.

Conexus Tuition — Taunton & Minehead

19/09/2026

Did anyone else in Minehead get absolutely soaked waiting for the late Flying Scotsman today? 😂☔🚂

Not quite the relaxed Sunday outing I had imagined, but it was worth the wait when it finally arrived!

It’s lovely being part of a community where there is always something happening. I run Conexus Tuition Minehead & Taunton, providing friendly, personalised English and maths support for local children and young people.

So, if the new school term has been a little less “full steam ahead” and a little more “delayed due to unexpected difficulties”, feel free to send me a message. 😂💜
