The demand for driving lessons across Bridgwater, Taunton and the surrounding areas continues to grow, and we're looking for the right people to join our team.

We're not looking for lots of instructors.

We're looking for the right instructors.

The sort of people who genuinely care about helping learners become safe, confident drivers for life.

Whether you're:

✅ A qualified ADI looking for a fresh start

✅ A PDI working towards qualification

✅ An automatic instructor looking for consistent pupil demand

✅ Someone considering a career change

✅ Someone interested in training to become a driving instructor
..we'd love to have a chat.

At Learn with Vern, we believe driving instruction is about far more than helping people pass a test.

We're passionate about creating safe, confident drivers through structured, client-centred coaching tailored to each individual learner.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿:

🔴 A well-established local brand

🔴 Consistent pupil demand and waiting lists

🔴 Ongoing mentoring and support

🔴 Regular CPD and development opportunities

🔴 A friendly, supportive team environment

🔴 The opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's lives

🚨 Automatic instructors particularly welcome. Demand for automatic lessons continues to increase, and we'd love to speak with experienced ADIs or PDIs looking to build something special with us.

If you're an existing instructor looking for a supportive team around you, or you've been thinking about a career in driver training, we'd love to hear from you.

A first-time pass, with just 2 faults, and that’s in some very challenging conditions too, an excellent result and thoroughly deserved.

🚗💨 Keep an eye out for Sue in the Langport area as she puts the finishing touches on her training over the next few weeks and gets ready to hit the road as our newest Learn with Vern instructor. We’re proud to have her on the team!

Massive congratulations to James on a first-time pass in Taunton today with Ainsley 👏

James had completed young driver training previously, so with just a couple of focused lessons, he was brought right up to test standard and delivered a solid drive on the day.

Another fantastic result from the Learn with Vern team — a well-earned pass for Ava in Taunton today with Simon.

What really stood out was Ava’s ability to manage her nerves and rise to the challenge when it mattered. With the right support, structure, and coaching, learners start believing in their own ability — and that’s exactly what today showed.

She now heads into her Christmas break from university with the confidence and independence that come from being able to drive her own car. A life-changing moment, delivered through great instruction and calm, student-centred coaching.

If you’re thinking about becoming a driving instructor, this is the impact you could be making every day. Helping people grow, overcome challenges, and gain real freedom.

Train with a team that supports you from day one.

Pass for Ava in Taunton today with Simon! 🎉

Massive well done for holding your nerves and proving to yourself that you could do it. You absolutely earned this one.

Perfect timing too, enjoy your Christmas break from uni, especially now you’ve got the freedom to get out and about in your own car.

Well done and stay safe out there, Ava 👏🚗💨

Another solid result from the Learn with Vern team — first time pass for Jack in Taunton today.

What makes this one stand out is the preparation behind the scenes. Jack came straight from a long day at work but still had the focus, structure and discipline to pull together a calm, confident drive. That’s exactly what good coaching brings out in a learner — the ability to perform even when tired or under pressure.

If you’re considering becoming a driving instructor, this is the impact you can have. Changing someone’s life, giving them freedom, and helping them achieve something they’ve worked hard for.

Train with a team that cares, a team that gets results, and a team that supports you from day one.

Absolutely buzzing for this one…

Test pass for Jack!

First time. In Taunton. With Vern.

What a solid drive from start to finish. Jack’s been a pleasure to teach, proper switched on, asks good questions, and actually listens!

Today he pulled everything together and delivered a genuinely confident, tidy drive.

What makes it even better is the effort behind the scenes. Jack came straight from a full day at work, absolutely knackered, but still showed up, dug deep, and gave it everything. That takes character, and he proved he had plenty of it.

Massive well done, mate. Enjoy the freedom, stay safe, and shout if you ever need anything. Proud of you 👏🚗💨
