🌊🐠 September – Under the Sea! 🐚🪼

This month at Hunnybears, the children have loved learning and exploring all things under the sea! 🌊

We have been busy painting, gluing, making beautiful sun catchers and exploring lots of exciting under-the-sea themed tuff trays. 🎨🐙 The children have also enjoyed reading stories about life under the sea and joining in with our favourite under-the-sea songs. 📚🎶

To finish off our topic, the children had lots of fun trying out different under-the-sea yoga poses, moving and stretching like their favourite sea creatures! 🧘‍♀️🐢🐠

We have had such a fun-filled month of learning, creativity and exploring! ❤️🐻🍯

🎉 Congratulations, Frankie! 🎉

We are delighted to announce that Frankie has successfully qualified as a Hunnybears Level 4 PANCo (Physical Activity and Nutrition Coordinator)! 🌟

This means Frankie has developed the knowledge and skills to promote healthy eating, physical activity and healthy lifestyles among children. She is also able to support families and signpost them to relevant services when needed.

At Hunnybears, our aim is to help children develop healthy habits from an early age—habits that can support their health and wellbeing throughout their lives. 💚

Well done, Frankie, and congratulations on this fantastic achievement! 👏🎓

🎈HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNNYBEARS 🎈

On this day, 23 years ago, Hunnybears opened its doors for the first time with just 3 children on the register, one of those our own son!

Spring forward to today and we have been blessed to have had so many children and their families come through the doors.

We would like to thank all of those families for choosing hunnybears and allowing us to care for your little ones and watch them grow.

We would also like to thank the amazing staff. With out them Hunnybears would not be what it is today.

Here’s to a day of celebrating our achievements and looking forward to welcoming new families in the future. 💕

🧼🐻 A LITTLE HYGIENE REMINDER 🐻🧼

Dear Parents,

With a number of illnesses currently circulating, we would really appreciate your support in helping us reduce the spread of germs at Hunnybears. ❤️

Please encourage your children to wash their hands regularly with soap and water, particularly before eating, after using the toilet and after playing outside.

We also ask that you remind children, where possible, not to put their fingers, hands or toys in their mouths. We understand this is very common for young children, but it can be an easy way for germs to spread between children.

We will continue to encourage good hand hygiene and follow our usual cleaning routines at nursery. 🧼

Thank you for helping us keep our children and staff as healthy as possible. ❤️🐻

🌿🐒 Jungle Animals at Hunnybears! 🦁🐯

This month at Hunnybears, we have loved exploring our Jungle Animals topic! 🌴🦒 The children have been very busy painting, gluing, creating and enjoying lots of different messy play trays. 🎨🖌️

We have loved talking about all the different jungle animals and sharing stories about animals the children have seen. 🐘🐍🦓

Our favourite activities were definitely our jungle songs and jungle yoga! 🧘‍♀️🌿 The children had so much fun moving like their favourite animals and joining in with all the actions! 🐒🐯💚
