🌈❤️ Goodbye and Good Luck to Our School Leavers! ❤️🌈

As another wonderful year comes to an end, it’s time to say goodbye to our amazing children who are leaving Rainbow Preschool to begin their exciting new adventure at big school. 📚🎒✨

It has been an absolute privilege to watch each and every one of you grow in confidence, make friendships, learn new skills and become the wonderful little people you are today. We are so proud of everything you have achieved.

Although we will miss your smiles, laughter and the joy you bring to preschool every day, we know you are more than ready for this next chapter. We wish you all the happiness, success and confidence as you take this exciting step.

Thank you to all of our wonderful families for trusting us to be part of your child’s early years. It has been a pleasure to share in so many special moments and memories.

🎨🤩 What a fantastic Messy Day we’ve had! 🤩🎨

Today was all about getting super messy and having lots of fun! The children explored slimy spaghetti, shaving foam, ooblek and even baked beans! There were plenty of smiles as we continued our face painting and some children even wanted paint on their arms and legs too! 😂

We enjoyed hand painting and experimented by pouring paint through funnels to discover the different marks and patterns we could make. It was a wonderful day of creativity, exploration and of course, lots of mess!

What an incredible week it has been, full of fun, laughter, creativity and adventure. We hope we’ve made it a truly memorable week for all of the children, creating lots of happy memories to look back on. 🌈💛

🫧 Did someone say bubbles? 🫧

We had such a fantastic day today blowing and popping bubbles just like the fishies in the sea! 🐠
The children enjoyed one of our favourite stories, The Rainbow Fish, before getting stuck into lots of fun, bubble-themed activities. We played with foam, painted using bubble solution and bubble wrap and even made our very own bubble wands! 🎨🫧

What a fantastic day filled with laughter, creativity, and lots and lots of bubbles! 💙✨

🌈 Phew… what an amazing Rainbow Day we’ve had today! 🌈

We explored so many colourful things and had lots of fun throughout the day. The children made colourful caterpillars and jellyfish, painted beautiful butterflies, enjoyed dancing and even had rainbow face painting! 🎨🦋🐛✨

It has been a day full of creativity, laughter and smiles. What wonderful memories we’ve made together! ❤️💛💚💙💜

🌈 What a fantastic Colourful Day we’ve had at preschool! 🎨

The children have had so much fun exploring all things colourful through lots of exciting activities, games and creative play. This afternoon, we were delighted to welcome Krazy Kev back for another fun-filled visit and there was lots of laughter and excitement!

🦖 What a ROAR-some Dinosaur Day we had at Rainbow today! 🦕

Our little explorers had a fantastic time enjoying all things dinosaur and the highlight of the day was a very special visit from Krazy Kev! 🤩

He had everyone smiling from ear to ear!! We couldn’t stop laughing! 😄 Thank you, Krazy Kev, for bringing so much fun, energy and laughter to our preschool. It was a day full of excitement, giggles and wonderful memories that we’ll be talking about for a long time!

It’s that time of year again where we have to say goodbye to some of our amazing preschool children as they get ready for their next big adventure at school. 💙 Watching them grow, learn and flourish has been such a privilege and although we’ll miss them dearly, we’re going to make their final days at preschool extra special with a week full of fun, laughter and memories! 🥳

🎖️ They will also receive their Preschool Graduation Certificates!
👗🤵 If you would like, your child is welcome to come dressed in their favourite party dress or smart outfit to make the occasion even more special.

✨ We can’t wait to celebrate this wonderful group of children and send them off with smiles, laughter and memories they’ll treasure forever. Let’s make their final week at preschool the best one yet! 💙🎉

Many apologies for the late post, we have been risk assessing the room alongside looking at the Met Office's forecasts.

We have read so many conflicting reports, suggestions and recommendations for tomorrow.

We would really appreciate your support in keeping your children as safe as possible. If you choose to keep your children home, there is no issues or comeback. It is not compulsory for your children to attend. If you choose to send your children please re-read the previous email we sent with suggestions about keeping children cool in hotter weather.

With the safety of the children at the forefront of our practice, we will risk assess upon arrival at the setting and continue to risk assess our room. If the temperature in our room exceed a level in which we feel is safe, we will have to consider closing the setting. This is inline with advice from the Local Authority and our own policies and procedures.

As you may be aware, the Met Office has now issued a red weather warning for this afternoon. Currently the temperature in our room is not at a level that we feel is acceptable. In line with our policies and advice from the Local Authority we have taken the decision to close as of 11.30 today.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this decision.
