A beautiful sunset to start the day ...

We hope you are having a lovely Summer, and enjoying the slightly cooler weather!

We have been preparing to welcome the children back in September. The Preschool room has a new little role play village with a home corner, library, post office, sweet shop, ice cream parlour, market stall, shop, barbers and hairdressers for the children to explore and develop their imagination and creativity. The role play area is one of the children's favourite areas of play, encouraging so many positive aspects of learning, language and communication, interacting with others and forming friendships, and promoting confidence and self-esteem.

At Willow's Woodland we will be having a large role play village, replicating different places in Bridgnorth where families can come and play and develop their imagination and curiosity.

A wonderful afternoon celebrating 'The Class of 2026' 💚 🖤
The children in Preschool have been caring for our butterflies, which they have nurtured, and observed them develop and grow from caterpillars. During the Graduation Ceremony, the children released the butterflies and watched them spread their wings and fly high, just like they will 🦋
Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff at Dad's the Word for everything you do. Your kindness and care means so much to everyone, and we are so lucky to have you ❤️
We would like to wish all the families of 'The Class of 2026' the very best for the future, and look forward to welcoming the new families to Dad's the Word in September 🌳

We have had a very busy, but wonderful few weeks ☀️ The children created beautiful personalised socks and pictures for Fathers Day, which looked fantastic! We have had some chick's hatch 🐣 and have had lots of fun cooling down with plenty of water play 💧 following this particularly hot weather ☀️🍦We are continuing to develop our forest school area, as well as preparing to start 'Willow's Woodland' 🌳
The staff have all been wonderful caring for the children so well in these hot conditions, thank you all for everything you do, always 💚

We hope you have all had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend ☀️
Congratulations to all those who took part the Bridgnorth Walk yesterday 🏃‍♂️‍➡️

Last week, some of the children met our two week old pygmy goat, Manni 🐐
Over the next couple of weeks the children will have the opportunity to meet some of our other pygmy goats, chick's, and ducklings, as well as bottle feeding our lambs, Blossom and Bluebell 🐑🦆🐥

We have started to revamp the forest area 🌳
'Mount Glen' is going to be great fun for the children to explore, climb up, roll down, hide in, and have fun with friends!

Happy Easter 🐰 🐣

The children have been taking part in lots of eggciting activities for Easter 🐰
They have enjoyed getting creative with arts and crafts, sensory play, baking Easter nests, and collecting the eggs from our hens 🥚
