Something a little different for us yesterday! 🏇✨

With the current flu outbreak, racing ponies have to be based with licensed trainers, so we’re very lucky to currently have a super little racing pony in our care for Mark Westbrook, with his 15-year-old daughter Lila Westbrook in the saddle.

Yesterday we headed to Worcester for her first outing with us, taking part in the 148cm Pony Race and coming home with a very creditable 5th place! 👏

This is a brand-new partnership for us, so there was plenty for both us and Lila to learn, but she gave it a great ride and it was a fantastic afternoon enjoyed by everyone.

We’re really looking forward to seeing how this partnership develops and, fingers crossed, we’ll be following this up with a trip to Newbury next Wednesday. 🤞🏇

Can you believe it … just 65 days until National Hunt season officially starts again 🤩

We’ll be looking back on these summer hacking days all too soon, longing for the sunshine. 🤣🙈

We’re certainly making the most of it for now ☀️
