✨ A little StageReady update… ✨

As many of you know, I am now officially signing off from StageReady Academy for a short while as I prepare to step into my most exciting role yet… becoming a mother. 💕

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful students, parents and families for your continued support, encouragement and kindness. StageReady Academy has grown into something I am so proud of, and that is because of the amazing young performers who walk through the door each week with talent, determination and big dreams.

Although I will be taking some time to enjoy this very special new chapter, StageReady Academy will be back before you know it!

🎭 1:1 singing lessons will return mid to late August
🎶 A brand-new online booking system will be launching to make booking lessons easier than ever
🌟 New lesson slots will also be opening for potential new students

And looking ahead, we have some very exciting plans for September 2026–September 2027, including the continuation of our bi-weekly masterclasses, more West End workshops, and the launch of our brand-new Stage School / Youth Theatre.

So please keep your eyes peeled for all the updates — there is so much more to come for StageReady Academy.

For now, wish me luck as I begin this next adventure… motherhood. 💕

Last weekend we celebrated Saffie turning 11 with a Hamilton-themed performing arts party — and the moment that stayed with me wasn't Saffie's performance.

Saffie's brilliant. She's confident, talented, and completely at home on stage. What I didn't expect was what happened with her friends.
Most of them had never done anything like this before. When we started the drama games there were nervous giggles, folded arms, a few "I can't do that" faces. Completely normal.
But by the time we were learning choreography to "The Schuyler Sisters," something had shifted. They were helping each other, committing to the moves, laughing with the work instead of hiding from it.

And then came the moment: unprompted, they asked if they could perform what they'd learned for their parents.
Not Saffie asking. Her friends. The ones who ninety minutes earlier wouldn't have volunteered for anything.

That's what stays with me about this work. It's about creating a safe space where young people of all skill levels can discover that they are capable.

That's what StageReady does in Shropshire. Every lesson, every session, every party. One safe space at a time.
