Tremains Primary School is looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our busy and welcoming office team. This is a key role where no two days are the same, supporting the smooth running of school life and being the first smiling face families and visitors see each day.

✨ What you’ll be doing:
Providing front-of-house reception support
Answering phones and welcoming visitors
Managing correspondence and routine enquiries
Minute taking and preparing confidential documents
Supporting attendance, admissions and general administration
Assisting the wider team with day-to-day office tasks

🌟 We’re looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is organised, efficient and able to juggle priorities
Is confident using IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Works well as part of a team and uses initiative
Has a calm, professional and child-friendly manner
Can greet visitors through the medium of Welsh
Previous school experience and knowledge of SIMS would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do.
An Enhanced DBS (with Children’s Barred List check) is required for this post.

Supervisory Assistant – Permanent
5 Hours per week – Term Time

Tremains Primary School is seeking to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work one hour during the lunchtime period, between 11.45am and 2.00pm every day, term time only.

Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the supervision of the children during lunchtime together with actively engaging pupils in playground games.

Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.

This post requires a criminal records check through the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)

Absolutely fantastic effort from our Tremains children at cross country on Saturday 5th October. Our boy runners finishing 5th in the table!! Da iawn Tremains.

The next race is on 19th October at Brynteg School.
