I’d like to say a big thank you to all the parents who chose me to care for their amazing little ones, in September 2016 I opened my doors and my heart and I’ve had the privilege of welcoming truly wonderful children and their families into our family. In the beginning the older children taught James all about life and he had some wonderful play mates growing up and as he grew he helped to care for the younger children. We have both made life long friends 💙♥️

We have made so many wonderful memories and I really do mean it when I ask you to keep in touch.

Thank you for all of the thoughtful and generous gifts, we have been spoilt.

I am ever so grateful to everyone who has supported me over the last few years, especially these final months as I’ve prepared for my next adventure and wish everyone the best of luck for the future.

Hello 👋

Autumn is well and truely here and we've been busy exploring nature, creating hygge moments on these darker evenings, making playdoh, crafting and much more.

As I'm reaching the final weeks of childminding I know it's going to go in a blink of an eye and I'm soaking up all these moments with my little people and preparing them for their next adventure 🫶

This morning we took the car to the garage and as its such a lovely day walked to the park. We had a great time on the swings and slides and decided to take a nature walk back home and we were so lucky to see the sheep and horses 🐑🐴

We sang old mcdonald farm and talked about the aeroplanes ✈️ cars 🚗 and said good morning to all the people we saw along the way and their lovely dogs 🐕

Both boys have shown how they are maturing and walking nicely holding hands and keeping safe when out near roads 😍

Throwing!

We all know children love to throw, it's an urge which is why I provide soft balls and bean bags that are safe to throw inside and won't hurt anyone. Doing so is meeting their individual needs and providing a powerful rich learning environment.

Any parents who have come into our home in the last few weeks will have been pelted with snowballs, thank you to the parents who engage and throw them back and embrace my crazy home where children are comfortable to be their true authentic selves and have fun playing "snowball fights".

The children have been busy little bees this morning 🐝

They excitedly ran outside to play but soon returned for puddle suits feeling the autumn chill in the air 🍂

Lots of Mark making on the outdoor easel using white board markers 🖍

Water and pouch lids down the bamboo channels and the most played with resource at Debs House.....the stones! They've been counted, poured, tipped out the dumper trucks, made into cups of tea and shaken in the colander (sorry neighbours!)

This one has always been attracted to water, he's the child I still carry spare clothes for everywhere we go because I can almost guarantee he's coming home wet.

He has grown up allowed to follow his urge to explore water and clothing and shoes will never be a barrier for him.

Playing with water is an excellent way for kids to release any pent-up energy or stress they may have been carrying throughout their day, it's always my go to for after school in some shape or form.
