Week 1 ✔️ and what a week its been !!

But this is a big thank you and appreciation post to my two mini apprenticies! This week they 100% bought the entertainment, energy, ideas and love! ❤️

The children we care for really do become part of the family and I'm so proud of my two girls for being the best helpers - even if the children prefer them to me 😜

Today I recieved the most lovely surprise and shock that not only have I been nominated but I am a finalist in the Best of South Wales Business Awards under the childminding category!!

Honestly absolutely honoured to have been nominated; I was completely unaware of the first rounds as it had all gone to junk and only made aware today from a tag on Facebook. Voting has just reopened though so if you think I'm deserving the link is below and in the comments. You can only vote in one category strangely per form too its worth noting.

Again a huge thank you; I honestly do love doing this job and the fact you all entrust me with your babies means the world and am so lucky to work with such wonderful and supportive parents in you all ❤️ and also the most amazing childminders I work with day in day out!

I've been super quite on here, but trust me we haven't been! It's been a very busy few weeks and we've just been having too much fun!!

One thing we always have time for is a bit of craft! 🖊🖍 🎨

We love a craft, it gives us so many opportunities to develop and learn while having fun 😊

We've been strengthening our fine motor skills, dexterity, grip strength and hand eye co-ordination using different tools to mark make, stick and cut ✂️

We've stretched our language skills discussing colours, shapes, thoughts and ideas (which is also some good maths practise!) 🌈 ♦️

We've worked well with our friends sharing the resources and taking turns, and sharing ideas on our creations 👫

We've expressed ourselves in our work and taken pride in it, which has left us feeling proud ❤️

We've spent the best few days making our Easter crafts to take home 🐣🐰

We had so much fun picking out some special flowers for our wonderful mummies this week!

We took a little trip to our local shop, picking out some special 💐 and paying for them ourselves.

Big thanks to Filco Supermarkets Ltd in North Cornelly who opened an extra till and helped the children enjoy the experience 😊
