What a fantastic year group - and an equally fantastic set of results! We are incredibly proud of our pupils whose results displayed strong performance across a wide range of key measures. This year’s outcomes show clear improvement, with pupils achieving higher scores in Literacy, Numeracy and Science, alongside rises in both the Level 2 Threshold and Level 1 Threshold.

These results reflect the hard work, commitment and ambition of our pupils, supported every step of the way by our amazing staff. We are delighted with what our young people have achieved this year and look forward to hearing about the next stage of the very promising futures that lie ahead of them.

We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form pupils who received their results today. Year 13 have shown real resilience, ambition and determination throughout their studies, and their hard work has truly paid off.

64% of students achieved at least three A–C grades (or equivalent)
98% secured the Level 3 threshold with two A–E grades
80% have secured their first‑choice university place
90% are moving on to their second‑choice (insurance) offer

These achievements open doors to exciting futures in university, apprenticeships and employment, and we couldn’t be prouder of what our pupils have accomplished.

A huge thank you to our dedicated teaching and support staff for guiding, encouraging and supporting pupils every step of the way. Your commitment makes a real difference.

Well done to everyone involved — today is a celebration of hard work, aspiration and success.

Well done to Year 9 pupils Jacob and Lewis, who have both been selected to represent Wales at the SIAB International Athletics Championships in Belfast this weekend.

Following the announcement of the Welsh Athletics team, Jacob has earned his place as one of the athletes, having competed against Year 10 and Year 11 athletes to secure his spot. He will represent Wales in both the 100m and the 4x100m relay.

In addition, Lewis has been selected to compete in the 1500m. To achieve selection at this level while still in Year 9 is an incredible accomplishment. Well done to both of you!

Everyone at Brynteg School is incredibly proud of both Jacob and Lewis. We wish them the very best of luck as they compete for Wales in Belfast this weekend.
