1 YEAR AS A PERSONAL TRAINER!!
What can I say,
When starting out as a personal trainer, I knew 2 things, 1, how hard it was going to be, and 2, what I wanted to get out of it.
I knew it was going to be hard because I’ve never been self employed before so I knew challenges would come with that, and if I want something done I had no one to rely on so it was down to me to achieve what I wanted
So what did I want?
Community, was at the top of my list when I started out because the gym, as everyone knows, is a scary place at first, and when you don’t know anyone, it’s even harder to start, so making people comfortable and getting them talking to people who are in the same boat as them was very important to me 🙌🏻
Being open and honest, PT gets a bad name and people sometimes look at us and think we are scary, but I promise you, we are human and we also had to start somewhere, I’ve been rock bottom and the gym brought the best out of me and I have/wanted to feed that on to my clients when they join me so they know that I can relate to them 💪🏻
Sharing my knowledge and changing mindsets, I knew it would come to a point where clients would no longer need my service, but I wouldn’t want their journey to end there. So I wanted to make sure that when a client is ready to move on they leave me knowing exactly what to do so they don’t have to worry anymore, in regards to mindset, I hear people saying that they can’t do something when they are literally doing what they say they can’t do, and it always baffles me, when you put that doubt in your mind you will never achieve anything, so I wanted clients leaving me with a change of mindset also. 🧠
So, with my first year wrapped up, I must say, I couldn’t be more proud of myself with how far AGPT has come, I’m so proud of my past and current clients, they truly have made my life easy with the work they put in! 💪🏻❤️
