💜WILD LAVENDER MOMENTS 💜

September! Where did you come from? How are you here already?! Autumn is just starting to appear 🍂🍁🍄

This summer was another busy one for us at Wild Lives Education. I’ve barely caught my breath never mind posted on here.

In mid July we had our first ever Wild Moments Mindful Photography walks at Scottish Lavender | Lavender Farm Scotland in Milnathort. A brilliant morning with stunning fields of purple, busy buzzing pollinators, birds, a leveret and wildflowers all around.

I can’t recommend a visit here enough! It’s always a bit magical. We will be back next year 💜🤞🏼

Huge thanks to Rory & the team at Scottish Lavender | Lavender Farm Scotland for welcoming us to the fields and as always to Perth&KinrossCountrysideTrust for their partnership and support and The Gannochy Trust Youth Panel for the funding to enable us to offer these sessions and experiences for free.

Let's explore a sea of purple and learn how to use photography as a way to be mindful in nature.

- 10-11am - 18+yrs - 5 spaces
- 11.15am - 12.15pm - 8-12yrs - 1 space
- 12.30pm - 1.30pm - 13-18yrs - 9 spaces

WILD MOMENTS well-being photography walks

An extra special Wild Moments event is happening on Sunday the 12th July at the stunning Lavender Fields at Milnathort. We'll explore a sea of purple, look for wildlife and use this amazing place to calm our minds and connect with the wild moments around us.

IMPORTANT:
- Space is limited to 10 places per session & allocated at a first come first serve basis.
- Entry to the Lavender Fields for participants is included in the wild moments session
- Parents, guardians, siblings etc are more than welcome to visit the fields but need to book a ticket for entry. It's a beautiful day out - highly recommend bringing a picnic and spending some time there.

Sunday 12th July 2026 - Lavender Fields, Scottish Lavender Oils, Milnathort
- Over 18s: 10am - 11am
- 8 yrs - 12 yrs: 11.15am - 12.15pm
- 13 yrs - 18 yrs: 12.30pm - 1.30pm

We can't wait to welcome you back to explore this summer! This year we have a mix of fully funded dates and dates with a sliding scale (£10 - £18 per half day).

🍄The Gannochy Trust have generously funded these dates:
* Friday 31st July - Kinnoull Hill | Full Day | 9.30am-3.30pm | 6-10yrs
* Friday 7th August - Bridge of Earn Scout Hut | 9.30am-12noon & 1.00pm-3.30pm | 5-10yrs

🦔These dates are available from £10 - £18 per half day session:

Our May Nature Camp day was bundles of fun with some den building, wood work, bug sweeps & a litter pickup around the village.
