I know, I know, it's been a little while since we last shared some Qs with a side of As with you all, nursery life has been rather busy as of late, as I'm sure you can all imagine!

ANYWAY, less rambling, more ...answering?

G: Lego! My husband (that counts, right?), mini breaks, Wales (the place, not the animals!), live music at the Symphony Hall aaand chocolate (galaxy all the way! 😋🍫)

C: My wiiiiife! Saving pennies, non-mouldy cheese, beautiful chairs and lego!

G: Orange!

C: Don't have one, sadly! Being a designer means I'm not allowed to have favourites!

What was your favourite subject at school?

G: Ooo, Art & R.E!

C: It was such a long time ago... 🙈

What do you love about your job?

G: My team! They're like family to me 🥰

C: My wiiiiife! And work wife... (gold star if you can guess who it is!) and free toilet paper... 😅

Do you have any phobias or fears?

G: Heights, even standing on ladders is TOO much! Also spiders and small spaces...

C: Nope, I dislike most things equally!

So, you must be prepared to complete an Enhanced DBS check and be able to provide two wonderful, glowing references (shouldn’t be a problem, right?). First + foremost, all of you lovelies must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace, and join a proper Little Big Family who enjoy the best job in the world! Also, no standing on ceremony, you must also be prepared to feel loved, special, and important to not only the children and their families, but to the crazy folks that call this place their baby, as well! This weeks staff questions marks the end of our Toddler Room grilling, with Jess!

Jess is our Deputy Manager who recently returned to us from maternity leave after having her lovely little boy! She has been a part of the team (and well and truly part of the furniture!) since the veeeeery start of TLBN. However, please try not to start calling her a cabinet, wardrobe or any other type of furniture, she'll tell me off! 😉

Hiking and all things outdoorsy!

Science- I’ve always been absolutely fascinated by space and I would jump at the chance to go up in the Virgin Galactic 🚀

What do you love about your job?
Seeing our Little Big family and our nursery grow over the years has been such a joy. Meeting and caring for all our little ones fills my heart every single day. Each day brings a new adventure full of fun, laughter, and yes, a few challenges too. But hey, it definitely keeps me on my toes!

It’s such a pleasure meeting new parents, sharing both past and present experiences and supporting one another through every stage. That’s as soppy as that’s getting 😂 moving on….

Do you have any phobias or fears?
I’m not overly friendly with our eight legged friends… but I have learnt to be a little bit braver in front of the children, honest! 🙈🕷

Well, technically, only oranges but that's not how the song goes 😂

This morning both our tiniest humans over in Baby Room and our slightly bigger, tiny humans in Toddler Room were rather busy making their very own orange juice! 😋

The wonderful smell of citrus wafted through the air along with a chorus of cheers' as everybody enjoyed a little taste! Baby Rooms' Very Hungry Caterpillar (their book of the month!) would be so very proud of us.

I think it's safe to say that both the children and the big children (as a member of staff, I'm totally allowed to say that, right?! hehe!) alike had the most fantastic time.

Big muscles at the ready they squeezed (hey look, a nod to Toddlers' book of the month, A Squash and a Squeeze), sieved and stirred to make what I heard was the best orange juice ever created... watch out Tropicana... TLBN OJ is the next big thing! 😋
