Children make full use of the extensive grounds at both locations and offer exciting inside and outside activities all year round. Children safely play within the nursery gardens as well as venturing out into the natural environment for exploration, nature walks and observing the wildlife. We understand how important it is for you as parents to feel trust and confidence in the quality of the nursery provision that you choose for your child. We are dedicated to maintaining a high quality provision for the children, who are cared for by fully qualified and dedicated staff team. The Puddleducks have been getting into the festive spirit! 🎄✨

Our Christmas tree is up, and the children have been loving the festive sensory tray — plus decorating their own mini trees. They’ve been practising putting decorations on and taking them off (a lovely way to build fine motor skills) and creating beautiful CDs for our class tree, alongside lots of other Christmas crafts.

At Little Acorns, we celebrated with a wonderful Diversity Day. The children dressed in traditional cultural clothing, listened to stories, danced together, explored beautiful henna designs and enjoyed tasting foods from around the world.

It was a joyful day of learning, sharing and celebrating the many cultures that make our community so special.

Our Puddleducks have been busy celebrating Harvest Festival this week and they’ve loved getting messy in the process!

We explored corn printing using autumnal colours, with the children carefully following instructions to roll the corn from the paint tray onto their paper to create beautiful patterns.

They also used a variety of vegetables to make prints, chatting about the foods they could see and exploring all the wonderful smells and textures along the way.
