Today has been a very exciting day!

Recently our friends at Waterman Group asked us if we needed any office furniture and invited us to visit them and choose what we would like. Fast forward to today and not only did they donate more than we could have dreamed of - desks, chairs, storage units and much more, but they also arranged for a fantastic team to deliver it all to us.

To say we are overwhelmed by their generosity is an understatement.

Thank you to Emma, Philip and everyone involved with making today happen. These items are going to make such a difference to us and we can’t wait to show you around again when it’s all in place.

We were honoured to be invited by Brentwood Connected to help transform parts of Brentwood High Street.

Our amazing students at Endeavour Sixth Form have worked hard to create two beautiful community garden areas and decorate an inclusive community bench, helping to make Brentwood a brighter and more welcoming place for everyone.

You’ll find one of the garden areas at the top of the High Street near the bus stops, and the second garden area, along with the community bench, on Crown Street opposite the Chicken & Frog Bookshop

We are incredibly proud to share that, in recognition of this project and our students’ dedication to the local community, Endeavour Sixth Form has been nominated for the Community Engagement Award at the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce Awards.

This nomination is a testament to the hard work, creativity and teamwork shown by our students. If you’re in Brentwood, we’d love for you to visit the gardens and the bench and see the fantastic work they’ve achieved!

It was a privilege to attend the recent United in Diversity: Exploring Pathways to Potential event hosted by Essex County Council at Braxted Park.
We were incredibly proud to be asked to provide catering for the exhibitors attending the event. This was the biggest catering opportunity our Catering and Hospitality learners have undertaken to date and provided a fantastic real-life work experience opportunity for them to showcase their skills, professionalism and teamwork.
The event brought together young people, employers, educators, support services and community organisations for an inspiring day of interactive activities celebrating diversity and inclusion. Designed to build confidence and raise aspirations for life beyond education, it provided opportunities to engage with leading organisations and explore future pathways into employment and adulthood.
A huge thank you to Emma Wyatt for making this possible and for providing an opportunity that allowed our learners to shine. Experiences like these are invaluable in building confidence, developing employability skills and demonstrating the talents of young people with additional needs.

Tonight’s Senior Prom will be going ahead as planned starting at 7pm. The safety and comfort of our learners is always our top priority therefore we have introduced a few measures to make sure everyone can celebrate safely in the heat. We will enforce mandatory drink breaks throughout the evening with water and refreshments freely available, no ties will be necessary, anyone wishing to bring a change of cooler clothing would be encouraged to do so. We have set up cooling zones in shady areas outside and inside. Staff will be on hand and will be actively monitoring everyone to ensure nobody is getting too overheated.
