Brentwood School Brentwood School is one of the UK's leading co-educational independent day and boarding schools, providing first-class opportunities from age 3 to 18.

We are a day and boarding school with a difference - our boys and girls are taught together from 3 to 11, and then separately from aged 11 until the Sixth Form so we can tailor academic teaching more specifically. Our Admissions Wednesdays offer a genuine, unscripted look at everyday life at the Prep, allowing you to walk through our vibrant classrooms and experience our welcoming community firsthand. 🏫

Join us at 9.30am for a cup of tea and an informal chat with the Head of Prep and our Director of Early Years in a relaxed space to talk through your child's journey, discuss their needs, and ask any questions you may have. ☕️

Last week, we officially welcomed our new Year 6 Prefects. 👋

We could not be prouder of these pupils as they step into their new leadership roles for the academic year ahead. As Prefects, they have pledged to lead by example and champion our core school values of Virtue, Learning, and Manners in all that they do. 💪

Their role is a vital one across our school. From guiding younger pupils and promoting safe, happy play at break times, to assisting staff during major school events, they will be the ultimate ambassadors for our community. 👏

Congratulations to Year 11 student Amelia P for winning the Musical Theatre section at the Viva Vocal Finals 🥇🏆

Amelia, who attends both Brentwood School and Adagio School Of Dance, also competed at the All England Dance National Finals in Eastbourne over the summer, where she proudly represented South East England and was awarded silver, finishing as runner-up in the Musical Theatre section 👏

Huge congratulations to Y10 student, Eliphel, for winning Best Story in the Historical Association's national creative writing competition! ✨🏆

Eliphel's winning entry, The Vermilion Sisters, captivated the judges and stood out among entries from across the country. Competition judge Tony Badger shared high praise for the piece: "Brilliantly written and plotted, this tale of two sisters in peril at the Imperial Court of Tang dynasty China is exceptional in terms of research into the historical background, character development and sheer story-telling ability."

Grand Prize winner of the 2nd Brentwood International Music Competition, Sofia (Lower Sixth), may have only joined us at Brentwood School last Friday, but she is already making waves as a musician in the UK!

Yesterday she had the honour of performing at the British Academy in London at an event organised by the Moldovan Embassy, celebrating the nation's 35th year of independence. Hailing from Moldova herself, this was a true privilege for Sofia, who performed to esteemed dignitaries including the Moldovan Ambassador to the UK, prior to the delivery of speeches marking the occasion.

Alongside fellow countryman and our esteemed Artistic Director of the Specialist Music Programme, Mr Cuciuc and internationally acclaimed musician and Brentwood International Music Competition adjudicator Gerard Le Feuvre, Sofia performed special arrangements inspired by the anthems of both Moldova and the UK. Needless to say, it was quite the way for her to start her Brentwood journey!

Congratulations to her, Mr Cuciuc and Mr Le Feuvre on this auspicious occasion, and here's to many more in the future 🎶🎉🇲🇩
