🍂 What an Amazing Autumn Term! 🍂
We’ve had a truly wonderful autumn term at preschool, filled with engaging educational activities, lots of learning through play, and so many special memories made along the way. From exploring new skills to building friendships, our little learners have amazed us every day 💛
As we look ahead, we can’t wait to see what the spring term brings! Watching our children grow, develop, and thrive is such a joy, and we’re excited for all the adventures still to come 🌱✨

🌧️🐄 A Rainy, Muddy, Wonderful time at the Farm! 🌾🐑
Our preschool children embraced the great outdoors with smiles, boots, and plenty of enthusiasm! Despite the rain, we had an absolutely fantastic day at the farm. In fact… the rain made it even better!
The children splashed through puddles, squelched in the mud, and discovered just how much fun a wet-weather adventure can be. We met lots of friendly animals, including horses, sheep, cows, and some snakes who didn’t seem to mind the rain either!
We enjoyed watching the animals being fed, learning about how they are cared for, and talking about how farms change with the weather.

We had the most wonderful afternoon celebrating VE Day at Little Learners Pre School !!
Thank you to all our Little Learners and their families for making this such a special afternoon. What a wonderful turn out we had, thank you for the support.

Teaching early years children about VE Day is important for several reasons. It's a key historical event that shaped the world, and understanding it can help children develop a sense of history and their place in it. VE Day also provides opportunities to explore themes of celebration, remembrance, and the impact of conflict, fostering empathy and social understanding.

Celebrating Chinese new year with our Little Learners

Cultural celebrations in preschool are a powerful tool for teaching inclusivity. By embracing and celebrating the diverse traditions of our world, we help children develop a sense of respect and appreciation for all cultures. This we believe shapes our future.

A Chinese themed tuff tray gave the children the opportunity develop fine motor skills as they used one handed tools such as spoons and chopsticks to transfer, measure and sort. This also allowed children to develop hand eye coordination as well as testing their mathematical knowledge of numbers , and measure.

All round a well designed fun educational activity all our Little Learners loved ❤️
