PRE-LOVED UNIFORM SALE IS BACK!

Need to stock up before the new school year? Come along to our Pre-Loved Uniform Sale this Monday and grab some great uniform bargains while supporting the Friends of Brentwood School.

📅 Monday 24th August
⏰ 10am–11.45am
📍 Old Building House
The entrance is on Middleton Road, near the Prep traffic lights.

🚗 Parking: Hough Car Park, just outside (where the coaches park).

We will have pre-loved uniform available for Senior, Prep AND Pre-Prep, so there will be plenty to rummage through!

And the best bit? All money raised goes directly to the Friends of Brentwood School, helping us continue to support our school community.

Come early, have a browse and give some brilliant Brentwood uniform a new home!

All funds raised by Friends are put towards items and experiences, which benefit Brentwood School pupils in meaningful and lasting ways.

For the first time we donated £2,500 and our volunteers worked alongside the School to help produce these brilliant, hard-back Yearbooks for the Upper Sixth pupils.

The books are bursting with photos, as well as pupil and teacher messages and memories; a wonderful keepsake for everyone.

Thank you to all those who support Friends events and initiatives, enabling us to provide pupils with these extra touches, to help them remember their time at the School.

This year, Friends were again able to present every Year 6 pupil at Brentwood Preparatory School with a striking, hard-back Yearbook during their end-of-year Celebration Assembly.

The books are produced by volunteer parents and are packed with photos, as well as pupil and teacher messages and memories; a wonderful keepsake for everyone.

Thank you to all those who support Friends events and initiatives, enabling us to donate these books and a special thank you to our volunteers and Year 6 parents, who dedicated a lot of time gathering photos and information to produce these wonderful books!

We are holding our next Pre-loved Uniform Sale on Thursday 16th January, from 9.30-11am.

The sale of preparatory and senior school uniform, will take place in the Garden Building at the Prep School. To access the sale, please park in the Prep School car park and once parked, enter through the black gates near Tasker House and follow the signs. Cash is preferable.

Donations of clean uniform (in good condition) can be made in the week prior to the sale. Preparatory School donations can be left at reception or in the labelled boxes by the black gates, while Senior School donations should be delivered to the Porter’s Lodge, next to the Sports Centre.

We warmly invite you to our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Date: 18th November 2024
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Pls park at the Senior School, where you will be directed

The AGM is a vital part of our work, and we would love for you to join us. This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to be involved in important decisions that impact our school community. During the meeting, we will be discussing past achievements, current initiatives, and future plans to support Brentwood School. Mr Bond and Mrs Goodfellow will also be in attendance. Refreshments will be provided.

3. Treasurer’s report and approval of accounts
4. Upcoming events and initiatives
5. Open forum for parent feedback and suggestions

Our Pre-Loved Prep & Senior School uniform sales are scheduled for the following dates for the academic year; Tuesday 15th October, Thursday 16th January, Thursday 27th March & Monday 12th May ‘25.

The sales take place in the Garden Building at the Prep School from 10-11.30am.

If you have any uniform donations (clean uniform in good condition only!) please leave items in the labelled containers outside the Prep School gates or the Senior School Porter’s office, the week before the sales.

To attend the sale, please park in the Prep School carpark (between Nuffield Hospital & the Prep main office), enter through the black gates and follow the signs.

Cash is preferred!

SIGN UP FOR PRE-CHRISTMAS SHOPPING AT BICESTER VILLAGE! 🛍️

On Friday 15th November, The Friends of Brentwood School are hosting the brilliant, annual Bicester Village shopping trip & everyone is welcome!

Tickets are £30 and include coach travel to and from Bicester, as well as a Bicester Village discount book. Drinks and snacks are available on board for this lovely opportunity to meet other parents in a social capacity, whilst also getting some Christmas shopping done!

The trip leaves from Hough Roundabout at 9.30am (sharp!) on Friday 15th November and will leave Bicester at 7.30pm.
