We are very much looking forward to welcoming all of our wonderful children back to school tomorrow and supporting our new families as they become part of our wonderful school community. 💙

🎒📚 SCHOOL UNIFORM SWAP SHOP SESSION EXTENDED! 📚🎒

Good news! Due to demand, the Brecon School Uniform Swap Shop at Priory School on Thursday 27 August has been extended and will now be open from 5pm to 7pm.

Whether you're looking for school uniform items for the new term or want advice on the support available, please call in. We can also help families apply for Free School Meals and the School Essentials Grant, which can help with the cost of school uniforms, equipment and other essentials.

♻️ We are also looking for donations of good quality, pre-loved school uniform items. There is particular demand for Brecon High School blazers and PE/sports kit, so if your children have outgrown theirs, please consider donating them to help another local family.

what a brilliant day

Our Barry Island Bus Trip was absolutely fantastic 🏖️

It was lovely to spend the day with families from our community at the seaside.

But, these things take a lot of organising and a lot of effort and I want to thank Miss Pugh from Priory Church In Wales School, Jan Smith Family Liaison and Adele Evans who have helped me organise, fundraise, and run today’s trip. They’re amazing people and they work hard to support the community - thank you Miss P, Jan and Adele.

Thanks also to Zeera Indian Restaurant & Takeaway for the fundraising night they hosted for us and Brecon Rotary, Time Out at St Mary’s and Rev Rich Wootten for the kind donations which made today possible.

Other thanks to our drivers and the team at Williams Coaches - always brilliant - to Clark’s the Toy Shop, and to Jo and Anna for making the packed lunches.

And thanks to all the families who joined us on the trip 😎🍦☀️

What an incredible 3 weeks of food, fun, and unforgettable memories at Priory School!

A huge thank you to our amazing staff and wonderful children for making it such a fantastic experience.
We've enjoyed so many exciting activities, including lots of sports from our friends from Sport Powys and Cardiff Rugby - Rygbi Caerdydd.
meeting exotic animals with A & S Animal Encounters, using our teamwork and thinking skills with Beyond Breakout, baking, water safety sessions with the lovely Sophie our school nurse, Forest School adventures, and trips to the park.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these weeks so special.

We hope all our children have a wonderful, safe, and happy summer! ☀️💙

What an amazing time we've had so far at food and fun.

The children have enjoyed so many fantastic experiences, trying new activities and having lots of fun along the way.

A huge thank you to Sport Powys for delivering a wide range of exciting sports sessions that kept everyone active and smiling.
We also loved the challenge of Beyond Breakout
where teamwork and problem-solving were put to the test!

One of the highlights has to be our visit from &S Animal Encounters.
The children were fascinated to meet such an incredible variety of animals, learning all about them and even getting up close with some truly amazing creatures.

It's been wonderful to see so many smiling faces, growing confidence and new experiences. We can't wait to see what the rest of our programme has in store! 😊🎉

As we reach the end of another wonderful school year, we would like to say a huge thank you to our entire school community.

Thank you to all of our parents and carers for your continued support throughout the year. Your encouragement and partnership mean so much to us.

To our incredible children, thank you for all of your hard work, determination, and the fantastic progress you have made. We are so proud of everything you have achieved. From exciting learning experiences to special events and celebrations, we've made so many wonderful memories together that we will cherish.

We certainly know how to end the school year in style! 🎉

Everyone had a brilliant time at our end of year disco where we got to celebrate with all of our children but especially our year 6’s.
We can't believe tomorrow is the final day of another school year!

We would like thank everyone who supported and attended tonight’s event but we’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the Friends of Priory School for organising so many wonderful fundraising events throughout the year.
Your hard work, dedication and support have made a real difference to our school community.
Thank you for everything you do.

What a fantastic way to finish off an amazing school year! 🌟

Today, we enjoyed a brilliant community trip, and we couldn't be prouder of every single one of our children. They were a credit to us all, showing kindness, respect, excellent manners, and lots of enthusiasm throughout the day.

We had so much fun cruising along on the canal boat, playing in the park, enjoying a game of football at the Corries, and finishing the day with a well-earned ice lolly. 🍦⚽🚤🌳

Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special.
It's been a fun-filled year, full of wonderful memories, and today was the perfect way to celebrate everything we've achieved together.

Well done to all of our amazing children – we are so proud of you all! 💙
