📣 Brecon & Borders Welsh Pony & Cob Breeders Association AGM this Thursday 📣

The AGM for the Brecon & Borders WPCB will be held on:

📅 12th March
📍 Talgarth Football Club
⏰ 7:30pm

After the business part of the evening we are pleased to welcome as our guest speaker Shae Price, Shae our local Auctioneer needs no introduction and I’m sure we’re all in for a highly entertaining evening.

🏆 Also could all trophies for last years points competition and the Progeny show be returned at the meeting. Thanks.

And lastly it would be lovely if everyone could please bring a plate of sweet or savoury food for the after meeting refreshements.

We look forward to seeing members old and new, the more the merrier — everyone welcome! 🐴

All Members should have received an email notification, but new members are also welcome to attend. 💥

Due to the severe weather forecasts for tomorrow evening, the January meeting at Talgarth is now cancelled.

We hope to re-arrange a visit from Shannon, WPCS Young Ambassador, at a future date. Look out for further notice.

Just a quick reminder that our first meeting of 2026 is at 7.30pm on Thursday 8th January at Talgarth Football club house. Our guest speaker who needs no introduction is Shannon Foley Reed, the WPCS Young Ambassador. Please come along to support her.

🎄 Merry Christmas from the Brecon and Borders Welsh Pony and Cob Breed Association! 🎄

As the year draws to a close, we’d like to send a huge thank you to all our members, supporters, friends and fellow Welsh pony and cob enthusiasts for another fantastic year.

We hope you enjoy a very Merry Christmas, filled with good cheer, plenty of festive treats (for both humans and ponies!), and some well-earned rest. Here’s wishing you all a happy, healthy and successful New Year – we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings!

Just a little reminder to pop in your diary: our next meeting will be held on the 8th of January 2026 (in Talgarth Football club) where we look forward to welcoming Shannon Foley-Reed, WPCS Young Ambassador, we’d love to see as many of you there as possible as we kick off the new year together. Another date for your diary will be the February meeting on the 12th Feb with Crumpwell Stud.

A big "thankyou" to all who supported our Bingo last night. A total of £804 was raised. A very enjoyable evening, with some lucky people winning some super prizes. Thankyou also to Roger for helping us once again.
