It’s a taiko drumming for health & wellbeing workshop in Abergavenny, at The Guide Hall, by Bailey Park, NP7 5SG. Join us next Saturday, 3rd June from 10.30-12.30 for an uplifting go at this performance art, playing taiko drums from Japan with big sticks, called bachi.
Ursula Frank & Heather Murray, founder members of Taiko Wales since 2012, run workshops in an accessible & friendly way. This session is for adults (16+), with family sessions now being organised regularly at Theatr Brycheiniog. We’ll be covering basic technique, boosting confidence and energy levels and learning a catchy piece called ‘Ma’ (‘spaciousness’ in Japanese)
