Applications are now open for children due to start pre-school in 2024, Powys County Council has said.
Parents or carers of children born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 can apply for a place in an early year setting ready to start in 2024.

Applications must be completed and submitted by Friday, March 31, 2023.

A trip to the park helps with our physical development. We are learning to balance, take risks, co-ordinate our movements, move on a variety of surfaces & of course have lots of fun playing with our friends!

We use items and natural resources that reflect every day experiences to support the creation of familiar & invented characters.
The use of real life items & every day resources offers children meaningful experiences & encourages curiosity in play.

We used the conkers to create our masterpieces!

The children enjoyed dipping the conkers into autumn coloured paints then rolling the conkers around in the trays.

An Invitation to Autumn 🍂

Autumn is a magical season. Nature comes to life with vibrant orange, red & yellow leaves.

We talked about how the leaves fall from the trees. We explored the different feel & textures of the pine cones, conkers and pumpkins and made our own creations using water colours.
