This could be your new workplace...we are looking for someone to help Martha in the kitchen, with preparing all that lovely fresh food and out front to welcome our guests and help serve up their breakfast, lunch and supper. Hours are flexible, around our group bookings, and we pay NLW. You will be joining a great, hard-working, diverse team, we will make sure you are trained up in how we operate, which is informal and professional. We celebrate International Women's Day with our new Chef, Martha, from Mexico and Jan, the first ever female Bursar at The Burn....and some gorgeous home-baked Pear & Almond cakes, fresh from the oven...to be enjoyed by our guests from University of Aberdeen this afternoon.

We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to cook for our international guests and to run the catering function here. This is a varied, sleeves-rolled-up role, working closely with a small, dedicated team. The Burn is at a pivotal moment in its long history of welcoming guests and the post holder will be a part of the step change in standards of food preparation, encouraged to give their views on what we grow onsite to create our menus from as close to home as possible.

We will be welcoming new guests and clients, alongside our traditional core market of the post-graduate community associated with Goodenough College, London, and as hosts to UK and overseas Universities.

You will be encouraged to expand our catering offer to include, for example, some cooked to chill items for our self-catering guests.
