🥋 Welcome back 🥋

Tonight we welcome back everyone after the summer holidays- only 6 weeks until we are back off again for the Tattie holidays.

Our coaches Jamie, Med and Lauren are looking forward to seeing all the smiley faces back on the mats.

A wee reminder of the times

Primary- 6.30-7.15
Juniors- 7.20-8.20
Seniors- 8.20-9.20

Please make sure your child has a bottle of water, hair tided back, toe nails short, sliders on for wearing into the hall, GI suit on.

Wow haven’t the school holidays gone past quickly! ( well maybe not for the parents)

We return in two weeks the 26th of August. We are giving you an extra week off to get back into the swing of school life again and not have too many tired children on the mats.

If you have had a change in circumstances and your child can no longer attend please get in touch with the coaches, PM the page or message on the group chats. This allows
us to open spaces to others.

If your child would like to try judo please feel free to message the page. Your child will be invited along to try out judo with two free sessions to get a taste for what judo is all about.

Enjoy the rest of your holidays and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the 26th.

Wishing all of Scotland’s judoka the very best as you prepare to compete at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Your hard work, dedication, and determination inspire judoka of all ages across the country.

Well that was a little bit different last night.

During the holidays we have arranged a few outdoor fitness sessions at Brechin Rugby Club for the children and parents.

Last night our coach Jamie put us through our paces. From sprinting, burpees, squats and much more.

Parents and children did extremely well in 26degree heat. 🥵

These sessions are designed to help built stamina and fitness.

Name - Lauren Duncan
Age - 32
Job - SPSA
Loves - family, the gym and my dog Elvis 🐾
Hates - Being cold 🥶
Started judo - 8
Biggest achievement in judo - all 3 of my siblings and me winning gold medals on the same day
Loves being a coach because I love being part of a supportive community and help people build confidence, friendships and lifelong skills, while realising their strength and resilience!
