Jude has done it! Thank you to everyone for supporting him! So far raised an amazing £1,500, this covers the cost of making a wig out of his hair, the professional fitting for the person receiving it and can buy new drugs for testing. So this is fantastic!! If you would like to donate before it closes then feel free to give me cash and I can transfer it into the account for you. Thanks again Jude, Emma and Nick

What a beautiful morning! We got all togged up and went out to explore the signs of winter. We found blocks of ice and talked about the different shapes and patterns we could see - we used magnifying glasses to take a closer look. We threw the ice and watched it smash! Some of us then tried to piece it back together again like a jigsaw....

Exploring colour outdoors! 15/01/2024

We are starting to explore colour mixing during our art sessions. We decided to get dressed in our outdoor gear and get messy outside! We filled pipettes with different coloured paints and aimed them at a large sheet of paper. What happens when we mix blue and red? What if we add more red? Will the colour change again? How many different colours can we make?

Authors vivisting Georgeham 29/09/2023

We have been inspired by the wonderful Patrice Lawrence in class 3 and 4, and the hilarious Nick Toczek in class 2. With the help of the Appledoore book festival we've had the pleasure of welcoming these authors to our school. They spoke about writing, being creative and their journey's to become authors. While also sharing some poems, stories and creative writing ideas too! What a wonderful way to inspire reading and budding new authers and story tellers across our school!

Class 3 walk the River Lyn 26/09/2023

Class 3 had an epic adventure today, following the River Lyn from its source to mouth with our amazing National Trust guides. We looked at how the river changed as it grew, had lunch at Watersmeet (a confluence) and then finished off our journey with an ice-cream at Lynmouth (the Lyn's mouth!). Along the way we saw some of the features of a river with some amazing waterfalls and rapids as well as evidence of the sometimes devastating effects of flooding....
