📢 Our second-hand uniform shop, Cress, is now closed for the summer holidays and will reopen in September.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated uniform throughout the year – your support helps so many local families. 💙

We're still accepting donations of good-quality second-hand school uniform, particularly:

✅ PE tops
✅ PE fleeces
✅ Blazers
✅ School jumpers

If you have any of these items in good condition that are no longer needed, we'd be very grateful for your donation. Thank you for helping us keep school uniform affordable and sustainable for our community. ♻️

🕵️‍♂️ The Traitors Reward Experience: A Well-Earned Challenge! 🕵️‍♀️

Today, we had the pleasure of rewarding our students who have achieved an incredible 400 merits this year with a truly unforgettable experience inspired by The Traitors.

Working alongside Dan and Robbie from The Big Step, our students took part in a bespoke Traitors-themed escape room challenge, specially designed to test their teamwork, communication, problem-solving and resilience. From the moment they entered the room, they were immersed in a world of clues, deception, puzzles and suspense as they worked together to uncover the truth and complete their mission.

The energy, enthusiasm and determination shown by our students throughout the day was outstanding. Watching them collaborate, think critically and support one another under pressure was a fantastic reminder of why they have earned this reward in the first place.

A huge thank you to Dan and Robbie from The Big Step for creating such an engaging, immersive and memorable experience. The feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as one of the highlights of the year.

Congratulations to all of our students who reached the 400-merit milestone. Your hard work, positive attitude and commitment to our school values have truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and hope you enjoyed every minute of today's challenge!

✨ Amazing visit to Tyspane Care Home last Friday! ✨

Our students had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Tyspane, gaining a valuable insight into the wide range of careers available within the care and hospitality sectors. From touring the facilities to meeting members of staff and learning about different job roles, the visit helped showcase the many pathways and opportunities available to young people in the future.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to everyone at Tyspane for supporting us throughout the year. We are incredibly grateful for the many opportunities they have provided our students and for always making them feel so welcome.

The ongoing partnership between Braunton Academy and Tyspane has allowed our students to explore the workplace, raise their aspirations and meet some incredible residents.

🎒📚 Tomorrow is our Year 5 Taster Day at Braunton Academy!

We are delighted to be welcoming 142 Year 5 students from 9 different schools for a day of discovery, learning and new experiences. We hope everyone will enjoy exploring our academy, meeting staff and students, and getting a feel for life at Braunton Academy.

A reminder that parents and carers are invited to attend our end-of-day assembly in the Isaac Hall at 2:30pm. We look forward to sharing the day’s highlights with you.

We will be choreographing ‘Chokey Chant’ & ‘School Song’ and then we will do a full run through of everything we have rehearsed so far.
Everyone is needed – because you are ALL amazing! 😊
