I sadly have to inform you all that my childcare setting has closed, due to health issues.

I am, however, offering my services as a babysitter on evenings and weekends. I have a range of rates, dependant on what a family requires. Please get in touch if you'd like to find out more.

We've started Nursery Rhyme Week singing Humpty Dumpty, and talking about the characters and what they do. The older children drew smiles on Humpty, as he was happy because he hadn't fallen off the wall!

The children, Annette and I have had so much fun throughout the Summer Holidays, designing, creating and displaying our scarecrows! We also enjoyed our walk around the village, to see other people's scarecrows. Huge thanks to the local Parish councils for making this happen. The children are already talking about what scarecrows to make next Summer!

We've had a varied first week of the holidays, with natural loose parts play resulting in one of my 3 year olds building a dinosaur enclosure, complete with swimming pool, from sticks collected on walks in the woods, and pebbles. We had a go at making banana and strawberry ice cream today, and it was delicious! The children were so proud of themselves, and were impatient for it to freeze so they could try some!

Lots of ice to play with today and paddling pool out, to try and stay cool. Watermelon and ice lollies for snacks, and we even had Dexter's cooling mat to sit on! All of my children did remarkably well with the heat and were VERY good at staying in the shade! So proud of them ❤️

Well, the last 2 weeks have flown by, in a flurry of activities, groups and walks! We've made bird feeders, decorated paper wellies and drawn pictures in the frost, to name just a few. We're learning all about Winter - weather, clothes, nature and looking after wild animals and birds.

Happy New Year to you all! 🥳 I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I certainly did! 😊 And although it was a lovely break, its been great to see all of my lovely children again, and hear all about what Santa brought them!
We've had a fun first week back, with frosty walks, crafts, some new (rotated) toys to explore, and watching a crane making a delivery to a local builder, which caused great excitement!
