Our friends at The Mindful Hub are running COTHU training for parents and carers over the next 5 weeks! COTHU is a neurodiversity-affirming parenting program designed specifically for parents and carers of autistic children, teaching parents and carers how to accommodate the needs of their neurodivergent young people. The course is being run free of charge!!! (you do need to register though) It aims to help parents understand their child’s unique perspective and sensory needs so the child can grow up authentically and thrive, rather than being forced to mask or camouflage.

I’ve already booked my place and can’t wait to get started, hope to see some of you there!

Some beautiful photos of the Stories From The Wall sessions last week. A fabulous opportunity to work alongside the wonderful and talented Amanda Drago and with some great young people and their families. Genuinely one of the nicest days I’ve had at work in a long time!

Would like to say a huge thank you to Keith Slaney and Susan Slaney from the The Mindful Hub for donating some very tasty flapjacks and caramel slices for our half term session at Green Croft On The Wall. Also if youve not paid a visit to the The Mindful Hub yet, its well worth dropping in. Very chilled vibes, super coffee and loads and loads of Lego to choose from!
