This December, fly with us to Neverland for a spectacular family adventure filled with pirates, fairies, Lost Boys, dazzling dancing, wonderful singing, plenty of laughter and all the magic of Christmas! ✨

For 34 years, our Christmas productions have been part of the festive season here in Wilmslow, bringing generations of local families together for a truly magical trip to the theatre.

This year, we’re bringing the much-loved story of Peter Pan to life with a fabulous cast, beautiful costumes, spectacular dance numbers, Christmas cheer and plenty of traditional pantomime fun for the whole family.

We are delighted to introduce Martin Dutton to the DATS Faculty

We are incredibly excited to welcome Martin to DATS, where he will be joining our faculty to teach our vocational ballet students from September.

Martin is a highly experienced professional dancer, teacher, choreographer and adjudicator, with an extensive career spanning both professional performance and vocational dance training.

Martin trained at The Hammond, before continuing his professional training at The Royal Ballet Upper School and Central School of Ballet in London.

He joined Northern Ballet Theatre in 1993, performing both corps de ballet and soloist roles, before going on to work with renowned choreographer and director Peter Schaufuss in Denmark, where he performed soloist and principal roles.

Following his professional performing career, Martin returned to The Hammond in 2007, where he taught for many years alongside choreographing extensively for the school’s productions. In 2019, he was appointed Head of Boys, continuing his commitment to nurturing and developing the next generation of dancers.

A registered Royal Academy of Dance teacher, Martin now works extensively as a freelance teacher and coach, delivering vocational ballet training, private coaching, associate programmes and summer intensives throughout the UK and internationally. He is also an experienced adjudicator and lecturer, working with organisations including UKDCC, Prestige and JR Classical.

Martin brings a wealth of professional performance and teaching experience to his students, with a particular passion for developing strong classical technique, artistry and confident young dancers.

We are absolutely delighted to have Martin joining the DATS faculty and are so excited for our students to benefit from his wealth of knowledge and experience. 🤍

The children have worked incredibly hard and managed to get through the whole opening of A Chorus Line — what an achievement! 🌟

🎭 Legendary Musical Director Tom Chester, whose credits include multiple award-winning musicals including Annie, Mamma Mia!, West Side Story and many more, joining us for vocal training
✨ The fabulous Lily O’Dell joining us throughout the week

Five days packed with dance, singing, acting and musical theatre, while working with incredible industry professionals who will challenge the children, build their confidence and push them to develop as performers.

Our summer camps always bring the children on SO much — all whilst having the best time with their DATS friends! 🩰🎤🎭
