Mini Montesaurs Early Years Provision

Mini Montesaurs Early Years Provision Welcome to Our Heartfelt, Family-Run Nursery! A thriving independent nursery right in the heart of Cheadle. Children are not afraid of making mistakes.

Dedicated to providing a nurturing, creative, and bespoke learning environment where your little one can truly flourish. As a qualified Early Years Teacher, I will be using my in-depth knowledge and skills to provide children with the best start into their early years. I follow a Montessori approach alongside a lot of outdoor learning. Montessori is a philosophy and practice that fosters self-moti

vated growth for children in all areas of their development, with a goal of nurturing each child's natural desire for knowledge, understanding, and respect. My provision is purpose built and will allow free flow indoors and outdoors all year round. I believe Early Years is where the love of learning is fostered, imaginations are developed and the foundations of learning are laid. In a supportive yet challenging environment children are able to explore and discover the world around them and prepare themselves for learning throughout their education and in life. The children will learn through doing things first hand. I will adapt my provision to ensure it is continually providing experiences that are rich and enjoyable and build on their current skills. The children are at the heart of everything I do and learning is tailored to their needs. My aim is for all of our children to have a positive attitude to the challenges we experience and develop a resilience to not give up. This is something that will serve them well as we make those crucial foundations at the beginning of our educational journeys. Just a bit about my background- I completed my degree in Early Childhood Studies with a 1st class honours degree. This is where I started to learn more about what Montessori actually means and it provoked a natural interest. The Montessori approach follows each child’s different learning styles and child’s interests to allow each child to develop at their own pace. They are encouraged to see them as natural steps in the learning process. Within this ethos they enjoy challenges and gain a sense of perseverance. The focus is on enjoying learning and feeling satisfied at carrying out their tasks. Throughout my studies I trained in many different Early Years settings and adopted the Montessori ethos. I encourage active learning and will not passively feed them information. At Mini Montessaurs I aim to facilitate a child’s independent discovery rather than giving instruction. The value of learning is in the way it is applied. When children recognise the usefulness of what they learn, they come to enjoy learning. I then continued to train as qualified primary school teacher in a small school in Aylesbury. I later moved back up north where I am originally from and taught in primary schools in Greater Manchester for over seven years. I now have two children of my own aged 6 and 2. I am now beginning my new venture as qualified child-minder opening my own Early Years setting. I have a designed and built my own stand-alone early years classroom. I would encourage you to come and have a look around and have a chat to see if this is the setting for you and your child. My aim to offer the homely feel of a child-minder setting but the added benefits of a nursery setting, incorporating plenty of space, interaction and learning.

✨ Big News from Sensory Explorers! ✨

I had the most amazing morning meeting all the wonderful staff and children at Mini Montesaurs Early Years Provision for our very first taster session!

We’ve had so much fun today exploring and playing together:
🥁 Instrument Time: Shaking our maracas to the beat.
🌈 Ribbon Play: Wiggling our vibrant ribbons to our favorite action songs.
🤟 Family Signs: Learning how to sign Mummy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandad, brother, sister and Family.
🌸 Parachute Fun: Shaking the flower parachute high and low.
🫧 Bubble Magic: Ending with bubble-popping magic and our sensory lights.

We loved every second of it! ❤️ What’s even more exciting is that we will be continuing our sessions at Mini Montesaurs every Tuesday!

Thank you so much for welcoming me into your beautiful nursery. I am so happy to have some brand-new mini sensory explorers joining the family! 🦖✨ Mini Montesaurs Early Years Provision
