We will be exploring our pirate theme throughout the week, following the children’s interests and encouraging lots of learning through play.

🌟 Weekend Home Learning – All About Me! 🌟

Hi everyone 👋

This week, the children have been learning all about themselves! 🥰

We’ve been chatting about their likes and dislikes, looking at our friends and noticing the things that make us the same and the things that make us different. 👧🏼👦🏽👧🏾👦🏻

👀 “We have the same colour eyes!”
💇‍♀️ “You have brown hair and I have blonde hair!”

🏡 This weekend, have a look at the people in your family.

Do you all have the same colour hair? 👱‍♀️👩🏽‍🦱
What colour are everyone’s eyes? 👀
Who do you think you look most like? 🤔
What things are the same and what things are different?

🎨 Why not draw a picture of your family, remembering all the little details you noticed?

📸 Don’t forget to post some photos on Tapestry so we can see how you got on, and bring your family picture into preschool for Show & Tell next week. We can’t wait to see them! 💕

Week beginning Monday 14th September- All about me 👶🏼🧒🏾👧🏻👦🏻

Hi Everyone,
It was so lovely to see so many children last week and we are looking forward to welcoming more of you back this week.

The interest of the children this week is All About Me. We will be looking at ourselves and what makes us the same and different from our friends, we will be looking at the expressions people make and working out how they feel.

Our letter of the week this week will be Q, our number is 2 and our colour of the week is Purple.

If your child would like to bring something in for show and tell to do with our letter of the week or our theme we would love to see it. Please make sure any items brought in for show and tell are named and nothing too precious as we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage.

What an amazing first week we’ve had at Little Me Preschool, Halstead! 💛

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful families who have chosen Little Me Preschool for their little ones. It has been so lovely welcoming you all through our doors and seeing the children begin to settle in, explore and enjoy their new preschool.

What an amazing first week we’ve had at Little Me Preschool – The Lodge! 💛

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for choosing Little Me Preschool and trusting us with your little ones.

It’s been a very busy first week, with lots of settling in, exploring, learning, playing and getting used to our new routines. We’re so proud of how well the children have done.

A special thank you to our team for all their hard work in getting The Lodge up and running.
