Home from Home is a before/after school and school holiday childcare service that was set up because there were no suitable high standard facilities of childcare for school age children in my local area. As a professional and a mum I appreciate the importance of knowing that your children are well cared for while you are at work. With this in mind I offer parents the peace of mind that their children are not just in safe hands but also in a nurturing environment where your child's development is my highest priority. Children have ample opportunities to learn through their play and are able to interact with other children of similar ages within a family atmosphere. By providing home based childcare, with consequently smaller numbers of children, I can tailor my service to suit a family's particular needs. activity1 I have previously worked in two local primary schools and a nursery school clocking over 25 years including supporting children with learning disorders. Home from Home is run from my modest semi detached home in the small village of Wethersfield in Essex. I am OFSTED and PACEY registered and my qualifications include Nursery Management Level 3, Child Care Level 3, Teaching Assistant Level 2, Paediatric Gold First Aid Level 3, Safeguarding Children and Food Safety Level 2.
