Busy Beckers Bees PTA are a group of parents,family and friends who organise events to raise money for the school. As government funding does not always go as far as we would all love it too, by running events for the children, and social events for parents/friends and families we can provide the children with extra items with the extra money we have raised. Our AGM is held in the September each year where the positions of Chair, Vice Chair, secretary and treasurer are up for re-election. We are always delighted to see new faces at our meetings, which are very informal and usually involved tea and cake. You are invited to be a regular attender or help us out whenever you can we are always very grateful for the help. You don’t need to be a committee member to participate, all are welcome.

We hope the children had fun at the bubble festival today.

A big thank you to everyone that helped, these events wouldn't go ahead without all the amazing volunteers.

A reminder that the Bubble Festival is tomorrow (Wednesday), from 4:30pm–6pm on the school field. 🫧

Please remember that children need to bring their named water bottles, which we will refill with water as needed.

This event is for Years 1–6.

As with previous discos, you don’t need a physical ticket. When your child(ren) arrives, their name(s) will be ticked off the list of those who have booked.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.🫧🫧🫧🫧

We have the postponed bubble festival next Wednesday (16th September), and we need your help. We need another 10 parent volunteers to help at the event.

Beckers Green PTA AGM
Tuesday 29th September 2026 at 3.30pm

You are all invited to the Beckers Green PTA AGM.

Come along to hear about how much we have raised over the past year and how those funds have been spent for the benefit of our Beckers Green students.

The AGM is also where we elect the PTA committee for the forthcoming year.

If you wish to stand as an officer (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer or any Vice roles), you will need to be nominated by another parent. All nominations must be received by Friday 25th September 2026.

Please email nominations to [email protected]. Please make sure you have the agreement of the person you are nominating before submitting their name.

If you would like more information about any of the roles above, please email Clare Snelson or contact us via the Beckers Green PTA page.

As our PTA is a registered charity, all officer/committee members automatically become trustees of the charity. Before submitting a nomination, please read the Charity Commission publication ‘The Essential Trustee – What You Need to Know (CC3)’.

We’re always looking for volunteers too!
You don’t need to take on an official role or commit to helping at every event. Every bit of help makes a difference, no matter how much or how little time you can give.

The new date for the bubble festival is Wednesday 16th September.

This event is for Years 1 to 6 pupils only. If you did not purchase a ticket during the previous academic year, tickets can still be purchased through the school office by Friday 11 September. If you purchased a ticket last academic year and now require a refund, please contact the school office by Friday 11 September.

We need volunteers for this event, if you are able to help please let us know in the comments below, send us a message or email [email protected].

Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful summer and that the children have had a great first day back at school! 🎒📚

We can’t wait to start planning lots of fun events for the academic year ahead.

Keep an eye out for the date of our upcoming AGM, where the new PTA committee will be voted in for the year ahead.

As we reach the end of another school year, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported the PTA over the past year.

Whether you came along to an event, bought an ice cream or raffle tickets, donated prizes, helped behind the scenes, or volunteered your time, your involvement makes a difference. Every bit of support helps us continue to fundraise and provide extra opportunities for our children, and we couldn’t do it without you.

We hope you have a wonderful summer break and we look forward to seeing you all in September for another fun-filled year of PTA events and activities!
