We hope all the Year 6 children had a wonderful time at their leavers party this evening.

We had so much fun putting it on for them and loved seeing them get the primary school send off they deserve.

Well done to all the children, they have worked so hard not only this year but over the last 7 years!

🎉 Summer Fayre 2026 – Final Profit Announcement! 🎉

Apologies for the delay in sharing our final total, we were just waiting for the last few donations to come in. We’re delighted to announce that our Summer Fayre 2026 raised an incredible profit of...

£3,207.67! 🎊

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Summer Fayre such a fantastic success. Whether you volunteered, attended, donated, sponsored, or supported us in any way, we are so grateful.

To our wonderful staff, students, parents, carers, volunteers and local community, thank you!

The money raised will go towards much-needed playground repairs, additional resources for our children, and helping us continue to provide the very best environment for every child to learn, play and thrive.

As with all of our events, this truly was a team effort, and we couldn't have done it without the incredible support of so many people giving up their time and energy.

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that helped and supported our Summer Fayre.

Thank you to the Lyons Hall staff and my wonderful elves for your help setting up, running the games and packing everything away in record time!

Thank you to all the helpers and committee members that helped with planning in the run up to the event.

Thank you to our wonderful Year 6 students for putting on an amazing stall to help raise money for their leavers party in a few weeks.

And thank you to all our wonderful children, parents, carers and friends that attended the event today. We hope you all had an amazing day.

I am now home resting a very sore back, aching legs and one broken finger (🤦🏻‍♀️) but I am so happy that my first Summer Fayre as chair seems to have been a great success.

Once I am able to count all the money and we get final donations from our food vendors I can announce our final profit.

✨ WE'RE ALMOST READY! ✨

After 12 hours at school today, our amazing volunteers are finally calling it a night... and we're almost ready to welcome you all to our Summer Fayre tomorrow! 🎉☀️

🕛 Gates open at 12:00pm and we can't wait to see you for an afternoon packed with fun until 3:00pm!

🎟️ The Prize Stall and Tombola are fully stocked and bursting with fantastic prizes ready to be won!

🎁 Our incredible raffle hampers are back and better than ever!
⭐ 1st Prize: £100 cash PLUS a hamper packed with treats and vouchers generously donated by our wonderful local businesses.
⭐ 2nd Prize: £50 cash PLUS another fantastic hamper.
🎉 Plus lots more amazing hampers to be won... including our ever-popular Booze Hamper! 🍾

🎫 Raffle tickets and game tokens will be available to buy throughout the event. If you pre-purchased game tokens that weren't collected or sent home today, they'll be ready for collection from Token Stall 2.

🗺️ Maps were emailed out this afternoon to help you find your way around the fayre. Please note that, depending on tomorrow's weather, we may make a few layout changes in the morning to keep everyone as cool and comfortable as possible, so bear that in mind when you arrive.

☀️ We've also purchased additional gazebos to provide extra shade, and don't worry... the bar will be fully stocked to help keep everyone refreshed! 🍻🥤

We also have a new addition this year of freshly popped loaded popcorn available to purchase next to the bar! 🍿

The LHSFA team is hard at work preparing this year’s Summer Fayre, and it is already shaping up to be another fantastic community event.

The fayre will take place on Saturday 27th June 2026 from 12pm to 3pm.
