F2 had a wonderful day celebrating our class patron Saint, St Francis. The children brought some lovely objects in for our special worship to remind us of all the things we love in God's world.

Today, on National Teaching Assistant Day, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to our incredible Teaching Assistants and all the wonderful support staff who help make St Matthew’s such a special place.

Our school simply couldn’t run without you. Every day, you give your time, care, patience and energy to support our children, families and colleagues — whether in the classroom or behind the scenes.

Your kindness, dedication and commitment make a difference every single day, and we are incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic team at St Matthew’s.

💙 Thank you for everything you do and for always putting our children at the heart of it. 🌟👏

🌟 St Matthew’s Day Celebrations 🌟

Yesterday, we celebrated the feast day of our patron saint, St Matthew—one of Jesus’ twelve apostles.

Our older pupils worked with the younger children to create some wonderful artwork. Classes also enjoyed parties and shared the food kindly provided by our families.

It was a lovely day filled with faith, friendship and celebration!
